    Tessa is 4 weeks old and Tina has her doc’s appointment…

     

    Friday Morning…

     

    Bette and Tina were waiting in the doctors office… every one came over to take a look… between the oh’s and ah’s… and telling us how beautiful she was… well they couldn’t call Tina’s name fast enough… not that I didn’t want to show her off… but all of these people… we didn’t know… Tina just gave me that look… it said just sit back and smile…
     
    Tina was called and as we walked into the office… she stripped and looked so sexy in that paper gown as sat up on the table… the nurse came back and took all of the information… and soon she left and Dr. Wilson walked in…
     
    Dr. Wilson:  Tina… how are you feeling… (Taking the baby from Bette’s arms)   my my she is beautiful… just like her mommies… how are you both sleeping…
     
    Bette:  It’s not too bad… I let Tina sleep, so I get the 2 am feeding… which she is slowly sleeping later and later…
     
    Dr. Wilson:  That’s good… and before you booth know it she will be sleeping all night… (Handing Tessa back to Bette)
     
    She starts her examination… she smiles at Tina… telling her to relax… she looks great… Tina finally relaxes… and the doctor finishes her exam… she helps Tina to a sitting position…
     
    Nurse:  Hey Bette bring the baby… the secretaries always give us a lot of flack… they never get to see the babies…
     
    Bette follows the nurse… Tina just watches and when the door closes…
     
    Tina:  Ok doc… what gives…
     
    Dr. Wilson:  You don’t miss a trick do you…
     
    Tina:  I read too many scripts… and every possible story imaginable…
     
    Dr. Wilson:  Well Tina you are in great shape… every thing looks and feels like its back to normal… I don’t see why you couldn’t resume normal activities… but I usually like the mom to say whether she is up for sex… its up to you… as far as I can see… you are more then ready for sexual activities… but if you feel you need a few more days… then take a few more days…
     
    Tina:  Ok… thanks… even though I am more them ready…
     
    Dr. Wilson:  I had that feeling… well you do what you need to do… just remember you just had a baby… and you also need your rest… so for few next few weeks… no all nighters…
     
    Tina:  You’re no fun Doc… but I have been so tired… I don’t think I could go all night… not yet anyway…

    7. Hey Amanda, Great to have you back and posting more of your unique and brilliant view of Bette and Tina and now Tessa. Loved the real life drama added to this tale. No parent is perfect and it is only by experience do you learn the best way to care for your child. Tina’s panic was perfectly played out here. Glad to hear your son is continuing the family tradition of checking toes in sleepsuits and diapers. LOL. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
