"So, what are you saying about the movie?" Dana was kicking herself mentally as she didn’t know how to answer Alice’s question. She didn’t really pay any attention to the storyline.
"Hmm, yeah great" was all she could say. She tried to make herself busy by focussing in driving.
"Yeah, I think so, and the burglar steals the entire show. He was the funniest, don’t you think?"
"Ya, I thought so"
"Dane, there’s no burglar in the show. You were not concentrating" Alice frowned and crossed her arm.
Dana heart almost stopped beating. She thought it would be ok if she just acted dumb and kept focussing.
"You don’t like it?" Alice break the silence.
Dana sighed and glanced at the grumpy Alice. She always like the sight. She smiled and shook her head, thinking she would not get away easily with this.
"Yes, my mind was drifted to other place" Dana laughed as she saw Alice pouted her lips and looked through the window.
"To the feel of the softness and the warmth of your hand, Alice, who else could do that if not you?" Dana tried to add in some sweet words, knowing Alice would like to hear it. She could see Alice smiling at the reflection of the window.
"So, if you are not saying anything back, I guess you accept my explanation then, is it right, baby?" Dana couldn’t believe herself being so capable to pour out those sweet words from her mouth. Those are just for Alice, she thought. She saw Alice grinning ear to ear with her remarks. Then she grabbed Alice’s hand and entwined their fingers together, focussed to drive with one hand. They decided to just head to the beach as they were still very full from the snacks. Dana pulled over at the parking space. Both alighted from the car, walked towards the beach hand in hand. They sat on the bench, enjoying the breeze that blowed softly.
‘So, Dane, why don’t you tell me about your girlfriends?" Dana was astonished. She looked at Alice, and immediately she knew she had to answer.
"I thought I told you already? You knew right, I had only 2 relationships before."
"Yeah, who were they? How you met them?"
"The first one was my tennis mentor and the second was tennis mate."

uhhuh, I thought you have done your hang over research well. There is nothing like it and believe me if you can avoid it, do so. lol. It is nasty, any noise, any light will make your head hurt. Don’t say I did not warn you. As soon as A said that she would tag along back to the hotel, I started to worry that she would discover some papers with D’s last name on it. That was really close. Phew! What a long date it was! And it was not over yet, right? Love the scene at the movie. D was too goofy, laughing but not following the show. The beach scene was also interesting. You are doing a great job with them trying to know each other better. Keep up with your imagination. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
I second what HD said: I am glad you have never had a hangover and you wrote it well. Loving the flirting banter and words of endearment between the two. So glad Alice didn’t see the travel documents. Although I like to think she was looking for the flight date rather than Dane’s last name. Dana was so cute on the shopping/lunch/movie. She was treating Alice very well. It’s amazing how open Dana is being. I hope Alice remembers that when the reveal eventually happens. I also hope the date is not quite over. The ending leads to many possibilities. Thank you so much, uhhuh!! Excellent chapter!!
