They shared the brunch quietly, glancing and smiling at each other. They were still very shy in front of each other even after the kisses they shared. Dana realizing she had not much time left, decided to get her plan done. She finished up her juice and cleared her throat.
"Alice, do you want to go out later, say like shopping or movies or a walk in the park? Or you prefer to stay in?"
"You’re off today?"
"Yup, I had finished up the analysis and report therefore I am looking after you on full time basis today." Alice did her little dance in her mind upon hearing this. She decided to act cool though.
"Hmm, what if I don’t want you to look after me?"
"What? You don’t?" Alice could see the disappointment in Dana. She laughed and tapped Dana’s hand.
"I want you to have fun with me. I am pretty much better now. But you must promise to help me carry my shopping bags." Alice saw a smile crept up at Dana’s lips.
"Do I need to book a cargo truck as well?" Dana tried to suppress a smile which granted her a smack on the arm.
"Ok ok, anything for you baby, but remember I just have two arms." Dana smiled at Alice not realizing what had just came out from her. Alice on the other hand was blushing deep red at what she heard. Wow, she called me baby, she grinned while looking at her plate.
"Is that anything wrong Alice?" Dana looked at Alice, puzzled.
"Hmm, I just….heard someone calling me baby." Alice smiled shyly at her. Dana blushed at Alice’s statement.
"You like?" Dana glanced at Alice quickly and returned her attention to the plate.
"Yeah" Alice answered softly and shyly, bit her plain toast and looked at everthing except Dana.
"So, I fetch you in about 1 hour later? I need to go back to the hotel and change." Dana suggested.
"Hmm, what if I followed you back to the hotel. I want to check it out for my next article. Then we can head to the shopping mall directly."
"Ok, let’s get ready then." Dana motioned Alice to get dress while she cleaned the table.
At the hotel
Dana passed the keys to Alice right after she unlock the door of her room.

uhhuh, I thought you have done your hang over research well. There is nothing like it and believe me if you can avoid it, do so. lol. It is nasty, any noise, any light will make your head hurt. Don’t say I did not warn you. As soon as A said that she would tag along back to the hotel, I started to worry that she would discover some papers with D’s last name on it. That was really close. Phew! What a long date it was! And it was not over yet, right? Love the scene at the movie. D was too goofy, laughing but not following the show. The beach scene was also interesting. You are doing a great job with them trying to know each other better. Keep up with your imagination. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
I second what HD said: I am glad you have never had a hangover and you wrote it well. Loving the flirting banter and words of endearment between the two. So glad Alice didn’t see the travel documents. Although I like to think she was looking for the flight date rather than Dane’s last name. Dana was so cute on the shopping/lunch/movie. She was treating Alice very well. It’s amazing how open Dana is being. I hope Alice remembers that when the reveal eventually happens. I also hope the date is not quite over. The ending leads to many possibilities. Thank you so much, uhhuh!! Excellent chapter!!
