Peggy was a huge success. Especially as she had carefully selected presents for all six children – she had obviously picked Helena’s brain to get the right gift for the right child. Rebecca loved the American ladies soccer team kit and ball, a pair of roller skates plus helmet and knee/arm guards for Madison and a scooter for Hannah – Tina was staggered at Peggy’s generosity.
“Peggy! “ Tina couldn’t believe how right the gifts were for her daughters
“And now for you “ Peggy handed Tina three boxes of different sizes – one was a top of the range bread maker, the second was a new mobile phone complete with camera and the final box was a watch
“Peggy – this is amazing – I don’t know what to say “

I’m thinking even Becky might catch on, and if she catches on, I bet she and Dan will have a chat. Being a boy he might not believe, but it’ll creep up on him, sort of like NC-17s creep up on you. Now Ally, why don’t you send Peggy over to my house? I can be charming and could stand some gifts (although that new cell phone I was telling you about has a camera, so I hope she’d give me something else.)
