A Leap Of Faith (Chapter 3)
Not making eye contact with the athlete, Alice began “Oh God Dane… I’m sorry; I can’t do this to you… I can’t ruin what we have, and I don’t want to hurt you… that night I risked everything and it shook us up so badly…”
Dana saw how hard it was for Alice to open up to her, and it hurt her to see Alice struggling with her emotions. Although Dana knew that they had both had enough to drink, she knew that she couldn’t disguise how she was feeling. She had never seen Alice look more beautiful than right now; when she was timidly trying to protect Dana from the one thing she wanted more than anything.
Dana reached out to touch Alice’s cheek; she lifted her chin and wiped away the tears that were gently falling from the writer’s eyes.
Dana: Alice, I…
Dana couldn’t find the words, there was nothing left to say, so instead, she closed her eyes, leaned forward and kissed Alice gently and tenderly on the lips.
Alice gasped, but closed her eyes too, revelling in the feeling of having Dana kiss her once again. The electricity coursed through their bodies as Alice brought her hands up to Dana’s face. Dana moaned softly and opened her mouth to deepen the kiss. Alice’s tongue met hers as Dana slid her hand round to the back of Alice’s neck, pulling her closer.
Dana lost herself in the familiar feeling of Alice’s soft lips; she could taste the red wine in Alice’s mouth, and smell the sweet scent of the blonde’s perfume. Before she could stop herself her hands were roaming the writer’s body, making their way down to the bottom of her shirt and up the outside of her body. As Dana cupped her hands over Alice’s breasts the writer pulled away. Dana drew back and looked at Alice, confused. Alice looked down with a guilty expression on her face. Without looking up she said “I’m sorry Dana, we shouldn’t have done that, it’s not fair… to anyone.” She stood up from the sofa and turned to leave. Before she reached the door Dana jumped up to stop her.
Dana pleaded “Don’t do this Al, don’t you dare run off on me again!”
Alice looked back, the tears running freely down her face before she apologised again and walked out the door.
Dana fell back onto the sofa and put her head in her hands. “Fuck” she said aloud, with desperation.

no wayyy ty so much for the brilliance tho i think that’s a bit much! lol but enough about that.. HOORAY! lol im telling you i just hold ALOF in my arms for safe keeping cuz i love the beginnings of Danish and they way you have it all laid out is just great! Well.. i only allow short chaps if its packed with greatness… and this was fantastic so its allowed! even Alice stopping at the end and leaving was great because it just keeps me glued here waiting to see how they are going to dance around this situation. and how Tonya gets kicked to the curb! lol Post SOON SOON or.. when you can :) oh and glad to hear your feeling better!

Loved it! The tension was always one of the things that made it so great when they finally went for it! I can see that it will be that way in this too. I could feel the tension between them! Great story, and you have their emotions down so damn well! Please post again soon! :-)

Wow, so many Danish stories at the moment, it’s hard to keep track. :) I always love stories which start right after the 4 AM-kiss. So, keep it up! Btw, is your name from the song from Billie Meyers (love that song).
that was pretty fucking intense.
