Bette looks over at Tina who smiles and gives her the thumbs up.
‘I’m off to a great start’ Bette thinks to herself.
Bette plays like a God today also. After the 10th hole, she’s ahead of number 2 by 4 shots. She is 5 under par.
Tina and Sarah is talking on the sidelines.
“So, what are you going to do, when Bette is back on the tour?” Sarah asks.
“I got a new job with Golf.com. I’m their new photographer. I’ll be covering the LPGA-tour.
So I’ll be out there on the course taking pictures.” Tina replies.
“Wow, when do you start?” Sarah asks.
“September 1st. in two weeks. I’m using this to practice.” Tina replies.
“So, you’ll be traveling with Bette, that’s great.” Sarah says.
“Yeah.” Tina says and pulls up her camera and takes a picture of Bette doing a fairway shot. She put her thumb up and smiles.
They have been walking for almost 5 hours now, and Bette is on the 18th hole. She is still in the lead. She has now 7 shots down to number two. Bette is 10 under par. Karen is number two. The three best players qualify to the LPGA tour.
Tina and Sarah have moved up to the green and are waiting for Bette to pitch in.
Everyone is silent as Bette swings the last shot from fairway. Everyone’s eyes are on the ball, it lands 45 inches from the hole. The crowd claps their hands and shouts out comments of courage. “Nice shot Bette” and so on.
The three players move up to the green to do their putting. Bette is longest from the pin. So she goes first. She concentrates and carefully swings the putter a few inches back, then gives it a little push. The ball slowly rolls towards the hole. Everyone is holding their breath.
Then finally the ball arrives at the hole and goes in. Bette jumps up and down and smiles from ear to ear. She gives Lara a big hug. She then walks over to Tina and throws her arms around her and give her a big kiss. Since Bette had tee’d off first today, she had 17 flights behind her. But so far no one is near Bette’s score.

ok the brother is also ready to meet with her… another great chapter… now i have a feeling mom will come into the picture and want to get to know her daughter again and i hope she does… so please continue

Another great chapter. I really hope Tina’ll meet her brother and soon her mother. But about her fathier, actually it seems impossible to imagine it. And Bette is really the best. I love this B&T. Thank you

Nice I love the golf it would be fun to hear Bette’s thoughts as she plays her rounds. Tina getting with her family is so heartwarming thanks for beinging us the first stage now maybe she will get with her brother.

thanks to you ive seen PGA tour golf on cable tv to know about the game..lol..this is crazy or what?..i hope Tina forgive her brother too but that will be hard cuz he dosent have the excuse of have 15 years… your Bette and Tina are the most beautiful couple of ff i know?..lol..thanks Lauren post real soon
Great posts, sorry, couldn’t break after ch. 28, to comment. But, just loving that Tina and her siblings seem to be connecting again. I just love when family reunions are positive and happy, especially after such a long period of no communication. Keeping my fingers crossed for the older generation, as well.

Great chapter, it is good to see Tina and Sarah reconnecting. Was that a little twing of jealousy that Tina had when Bette was talking to the student. I would love to see how Tina handles other women being attracted to Bette. I am sure that Bette will have to face the little green eyed monster if she ever hangs out at any of the clubs with Tina and her friends.
I still miss “In Sickness and In Health”. Will we ever see it again?
