Chapter 29
Sarah sits down opposite Bette and Tina. There is a uncomfortable silence.
“So Tina, how have you been?” Sarah asks nervously.
“I’ve been good.” Tina replies just as nervous.
“Good Tina I Don’t really know what to say, except I’m sorry.” Sarah starts.
“Sarah, I know what you told me earlier were the truth. I believe that mom and dad would’ve kicked you out as well” Tina says, but is interrupted by Sarah.
“I should still have done something. I could’ve contacted you, I should’ve contacted you.” Sarah says as a single tear find its way down her cheek.
Tina sees that Sara has a hard time now, but she isn’t going to do anything yet. She is determined to listen to what Sarah has to say.
“I’ve missed you, I’ve missed by big sister. There were times I looked around on the internet for you. I didn’t know where you were so that was what I thought of doing. One day dad came into my room and saw what I was doing. He took my computer away from me for a month. He told me to never look for you again, or he would throw me out too.” Sarah says and wipes away the tears.
Tina want to give Sarah a hug so bad, but she want to hear her out first. She thought she would change the subject a little, maybe that would make it a little easier.
“Sarah, how is Chris?” Tina asks. She is still holding on to Bette’s hand.
“He’s good, he’s married and he has a kid. A boy named Jason. He’s 2 years old.” Sarah says and looks at Tina, who is now also getting teary.
“Do I know his wife?” Tina asks.
“Yeah, it’s Lauren, the woman he was seeing before you left. She’s really nice. She has talked to him about you. And I think after he had Jason, he’s mellowed a little. Lauren told me that he actually tried locating you, a year ago. But he couldn’t find you.” Sarah says.
Bette is silent, she moves her free hand onto Tina’s knee, and she softly strokes it.
“He did?” Tina asks silently.
“Yeah, he did.” Sarah replies.
“Why didn’t he say something before I left, did he agree with mom and dad?” Tina asks.

ok the brother is also ready to meet with her… another great chapter… now i have a feeling mom will come into the picture and want to get to know her daughter again and i hope she does… so please continue

Another great chapter. I really hope Tina’ll meet her brother and soon her mother. But about her fathier, actually it seems impossible to imagine it. And Bette is really the best. I love this B&T. Thank you

Nice I love the golf it would be fun to hear Bette’s thoughts as she plays her rounds. Tina getting with her family is so heartwarming thanks for beinging us the first stage now maybe she will get with her brother.

Great posts, sorry, couldn’t break after ch. 28, to comment. But, just loving that Tina and her siblings seem to be connecting again. I just love when family reunions are positive and happy, especially after such a long period of no communication. Keeping my fingers crossed for the older generation, as well.

Great chapter, it is good to see Tina and Sarah reconnecting. Was that a little twing of jealousy that Tina had when Bette was talking to the student. I would love to see how Tina handles other women being attracted to Bette. I am sure that Bette will have to face the little green eyed monster if she ever hangs out at any of the clubs with Tina and her friends.
I still miss “In Sickness and In Health”. Will we ever see it again?
