“I am. And I want to be there for you. She’s coming with me, it’s all set.” Tina says and smiles. Bette reaches over and takes Tina’s hand and holds it all the way back to the hotel.
The next day:
Bette, Tina and Lara arrives at 7 to the course. Half an hour later Sarah arrives. She walks inside and finds Tina.
“Hey.” She says and takes a seat next to Tina.
“Hey.” Tina replies and smiles.
Lara also smiles.
“Hi, Lara.” Sarah says.
“Hi, Sarah.” Lara replies.
“Hi Bette.” Sarah says and smiles.
“Hello, Sarah.” Bette replies.
It’s closing in on
“Well, I’m off for a few hours.” Bette says and smiles.
“Yeah, you are, and I’ll be right here with you.” Tina says smiling back.
“I’m happy for you that you have Sarah back.” Bette says.
“I’m happy too. I’ve missed her.” Tina replies.
“I know you have.” Bette says. The speaker comes on and tells everyone that Bette Porter and two others need to make their way to the first Tee.
“I have to go.” Bette says and looks into Tina’s eyes.
“Yeah” Tina replies. “You’ll do great.” She continues.
“I’m so lucky to have you. I love you.” Bette says.
“I love you too, now go and play the round of your life.” Tina says and leans in for a kiss, a soft and tender kiss. They smile at each other before Bette leaves.
Sarah has seen the interaction between Tina and Bette and she’s smiling.
Tina sees that smile when she returns.
“What?” She asks Sarah.
“Oh, Nothing You and Bette, you just fit together, you’re beautiful together. I wished that mom and dad could see that.” Sarah says in a lowered voice.
“Yeah, I wish that too, but I doubt it will happen.” Tina replies.
Bette is Teeing off first today. She gets the driver from Lara. She places the ball on her white peg, she concentrate and then she swings and hit the ball, perfectly as always.
The ball flies down, it lands on the right side of the fairway 220 yards down. It’s a great shot. The crowd agrees.

Another great chapter. I really hope Tina’ll meet her brother and soon her mother. But about her fathier, actually it seems impossible to imagine it. And Bette is really the best. I love this B&T. Thank you

Nice I love the golf it would be fun to hear Bette’s thoughts as she plays her rounds. Tina getting with her family is so heartwarming thanks for beinging us the first stage now maybe she will get with her brother.

Great posts, sorry, couldn’t break after ch. 28, to comment. But, just loving that Tina and her siblings seem to be connecting again. I just love when family reunions are positive and happy, especially after such a long period of no communication. Keeping my fingers crossed for the older generation, as well.

Great chapter, it is good to see Tina and Sarah reconnecting. Was that a little twing of jealousy that Tina had when Bette was talking to the student. I would love to see how Tina handles other women being attracted to Bette. I am sure that Bette will have to face the little green eyed monster if she ever hangs out at any of the clubs with Tina and her friends.
I still miss “In Sickness and In Health”. Will we ever see it again?
