“hey pretty girl…” the brunette said smiling leaning against my door frame

“hey…” I said simply

“you all packed up?” she asked

“um…almost…I just have to pack up the stuff my mom’s shopping for now…”

“and what would that be?” she asked sitting back on my bed and I went to rest my head on her thigh

“bed sheets and stuff…” I told her

“why aren’t you just taking these sheets?” she asked me

“just trying something new…but I need to pack up these pillow cases…”

“wait…you’re getting new sheets, but keeping the old pillow cases?” she asked confused

“yeah…” I told her

“um…why?” she asked

“because my pillow cases smell like you…” I told her

“well in that case…that seems like a perfectly good reason to take them…” she told me

“I’m gonna miss you so much…” I told her “…and you better be taking me to the airport…” I demanded

“well of course…” she said then I straddled her waist

“just think…after tomorrow it’ll only be three months till I come home for a week…” I told her

“ooh a whole week…”

“well you can always come visit me you know…” I told her

“and I plan to…but um, I have something to tell you…and it’s kinda huge news for me at least…”

“ok?”

“I signed with a record label…I signed with Epic records!” she said getting excited

“Ashley!” I exclaimed kissing her “this is huge!” I added “what did I tell you? Didn’t I tell you you’d end up making your big break?” I told her

“you did…I don’t know what I’d do without you…” she told me

“yeah I wonder too…” I told her

“but um…I’ll be recording in New York in a month or so, then I’ll be there for four months…” she told me

“four months? Then you wont be here when I come home…” I said

“yeah…I know…” she said as her smile faded

“but…but what if you come see me? I mean, like I’ll fly you out and everything…” she said “…you wont have to pay for a thing, and you could come live with me for a week…”
