“Are we talking hypothetically or is that an actual possibility?”
“I don’t know, this week is already clear so it’s just the 2 weeks after that… I could do most of my meetings over the phone, and if I have remote access I can still respond to emails during the day while you were at work… but I’d still be able to come home to you every night and I like the idea of that…”

Bette was silent. It was expected, of course, for friends to take sides in a break up, and, when the situation was as Tina’s was, it should not be surprising that it was Sam side that was taken. She hated what Tina was going through, this near limbo she was forcing herself to exist in. Bette was lost in thought and Tina could see that the brunette was going into fix it mode.
“Bette, it’s fine, I’m fine, don’t worry about it ok? It’s less than 3 weeks. I’m so glad Bette didn’t rush back to LA and that Tina cut the evening short and came home to find her. I think Bette should talk to her assistant and find a way to be there for Tee so she won’t be lonely and she’ll be able to get all her work done faster. Then back to LA to start a new life. PPS
