    Tina realises what a ***** she has been

    But the swim had helped her burn off her anger – as swimming always did and she was feeling more relaxed and placid about their current situation. She had swum until her arms and legs burnt with the lactic acid her body was producing. After the swim she had gone shopping and was now coming to pick Tina up.

    She got out of the car and walked down onto the beach and perched herself on the stone breakwater. It was a beautiful day and Bette was enjoying the sun on her face as she looked around for some clue for when Tina would appear. She after ten minutes she recognised the blonde running towards her. Bette smiled – Tina was so fit and looked so lithe and lovely. When Tina reached her she stopped and looked at her stop watch

    “Hi “

    Bette smiled and handed Tina a water bottle

    “Thank you – I don’t really need it. “

    Bette raised an eyebrow

    “I bumped into Helena and we have been having coffee. Then we walked along window shopping – I just ran back “

    “Window shopping ?” Bette smiled

    “Yeah “

    “Did you buy anything ?”
    “I have enough windows “

    Bette laughed

    “What about Helena ?”

    “She indulged in some retail therapy “

    “What a surprise “

    “I thought you really needed to burn off some frustration “

    Tina stepped closer to Bette

    “All I need is you “

    “Really – you have been doing a good job of not needing me “

    “I am an ass “

    Bette took Tina’s hand “I just want you to be happy “

    “I am happy – never been happier in my private life – you just rock my world babe. And me not telling you this is proof that I am an idiot. I am sorry babe. “

    “You have been horrible “

    “I know “

    Tina put her arms round Bette’s waist and snuggled closer to her

    “I am hurt and angry with my parents -not you “

    “You seem at war with the rest of the world and especially me “

    “I am an ass – I don’t mean it but I know that I have been rotten to you “

    “You have been nicer to me “

    “I know “

    Tina gently brushed her lips against Bette’s and kissed her for several seconds.

    “You are everything to me Bette. I am sorry “

    Bette returned the kiss and looked down at her partner

    “As long as we are okay “

    “We are – we are more than great. You stood by me and I just want to say thank you for that. You were there and you were fantastic – thanks “

    “I want to be there for you “

    “You were – I guess I am just getting used to knowing that I can lean on you”

    “You always will be able to “

    “I know – I get so wrapped up that I don’t see the hurt I am causing you – that was wrong of me “

    “You just need to know that I am here “

    “I know “

    Tina looked up at Bette

    “How was your swim ?”

    “I ache all over “

    “Need a massage ?”

    “I might do “

    “Would you let me take care of you ?”

    “Only if you let me take care of you “

    1. Yes, Tina does need to grovel quite a bit and show Bette a lot of lovemaking to soothe the hurt she has caused. Bette only wants to help and Tina knows that even if she doesn’t show it. It’s a wonder Tina’s parents have not contracted Aids with as many people as they’ve been with, especially Sarah. So does this mean we will be getting an NC-17 shortly? Hope so. Thanks AllyE.

    5. Love how Helena took Tina on and gave her the facts. I am glad that Tina went to Bette and shared how she was feeling and that she was sorry for taking it out on her. Off to find more…at least I hope.

    7. i’m enjoy how helena is being such a good friend to both tina and helena! tina really needs to talk to bette, and tina needs to realise as much as she doens’t like what her parents do they are adults, she has no control over them. awesome update! :)PPS

    8. Great story!!! Glad Helena was there to be a sounding board. Hopefully Bette and Tina will talk, and Tina shares with Bette what she is feeling. Bette has been so supportive; Tina definitely needs to grovel! PPVS!!
