“Just leave it okay Tina – the point that I was going to make was that Bette has changed – she is softer and its clear that she is potty about you. You owe it to both of you to give your attention to the woman you live with. Stop thinking about your mother’s sex life – that’s just too horrible for words. Start thinking about your sex life with that stunning woman you wake up beside every morning. Don’t tell me you have got complacent about that already “

“Bette went shopping yesterday and I found fault with nearly everything she bought “

“Because I was in a vile mood. She just wanted to spend the evening holding me and chatting and I was so uncommunicative “
“I have seen you do that so many times. Do you remember when I was dating Carrie and you were with Henry ?”
“Probably “
“Well we were all out at dinner one night and you were in a vile mood and you know what – you nearly reduced Henry to tears. You were just a cow. I can’t remember what had got your goat but something had and you just withdrew further and further into yourself and you just kept lashing out. Maybe that was because you were beginning to realise your true sexuality – but – Ti – you cannot do that to Bette. You have to lean on her. I can see that is what a real relationship is based on – leaning on one another. Knowing that she will catch you when you fall and catching her – that’s what it has to all be about as well as the sex and the friendship. Knowing you are there for one another “

Yes, Tina does need to grovel quite a bit and show Bette a lot of lovemaking to soothe the hurt she has caused. Bette only wants to help and Tina knows that even if she doesn’t show it. It’s a wonder Tina’s parents have not contracted Aids with as many people as they’ve been with, especially Sarah. So does this mean we will be getting an NC-17 shortly? Hope so. Thanks AllyE.

Love how Helena took Tina on and gave her the facts. I am glad that Tina went to Bette and shared how she was feeling and that she was sorry for taking it out on her. Off to find more…at least I hope.

Great story!!! Glad Helena was there to be a sounding board. Hopefully Bette and Tina will talk, and Tina shares with Bette what she is feeling. Bette has been so supportive; Tina definitely needs to grovel! PPVS!!
