Tina nodded “When I was a kid and I threw a tantrum I would get sent to sit outside on the front step – didn’t matter if it was raining or 90 degree heat. That was the punishment – think about what you had done – make sure you had calmed down. So what I started to do so that I didn’t get sent outside to freeze or boil was to suppress my anger – and the angrier I got the more I would press it down inside of me “
“Why don’t you tell that to Bette ? “
“Am I being vile to her ?”
“You are “
“She deserves nothing but love “ Tina said smiling
“Make it up to her “
Tina laughed “We will both enjoy that “
“Are you still angry ?”
“With my mother ? Yes I am “
“You need to let that go Tina – that’s when a cuddle will come in handy “
Tina sat for a few seconds before sighing
“I need her so much “
“Maybe you just have to show her that you need her . I get the feeling that Bette has never had anyone need her before and she’s getting used to it. “
“I couldn’t function without her “
“Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad thing to tell her that – just so she knows how you feel”
“I hurt her last night and this morning “
“Well that is done – what is important is how you make it up to her “
“You are right – now Peabody – tell me what happened with Kathy “

Bette pulled her blue Saab onto the piece of waste ground where she was due to meet Tina in 10 minutes time. They had parted on bad terms – Tina had been tetchy and Bette didn’t like how cutting Tina could be – made worse by the fact that she knew how similar they both were when they weren’t happy. Bette had wanted them both to go running but Tina had made it clear that she wanted to have a solo run. So Bette had decided to go for a swim and in the car as Bette drove Tina to the beach they had barely spoken. Bette had gone for her swim cross with Tina and with herself for allowing Tina to be so nasty with her.

Yes, Tina does need to grovel quite a bit and show Bette a lot of lovemaking to soothe the hurt she has caused. Bette only wants to help and Tina knows that even if she doesn’t show it. It’s a wonder Tina’s parents have not contracted Aids with as many people as they’ve been with, especially Sarah. So does this mean we will be getting an NC-17 shortly? Hope so. Thanks AllyE.

Love how Helena took Tina on and gave her the facts. I am glad that Tina went to Bette and shared how she was feeling and that she was sorry for taking it out on her. Off to find more…at least I hope.

i’m enjoy how helena is being such a good friend to both tina and helena! tina really needs to talk to bette, and tina needs to realise as much as she doens’t like what her parents do they are adults, she has no control over them. awesome update! :)PPS
Great story!!! Glad Helena was there to be a sounding board. Hopefully Bette and Tina will talk, and Tina shares with Bette what she is feeling. Bette has been so supportive; Tina definitely needs to grovel! PPVS!!
