Round n Round We Go (Ch.25 finale)
“If that’s my birthday present, then no thanks.”
Tina puffed her cheeks and pushed her wife slightly on the shoulder, causing the brunette to roll around and continue to whine half awake. “Come on, wake up. Time to greet the day.”
But Bette didn’t move. She just held her hands to her ears in denial. “You go get your daughter. I’ll be in… five more minutes…”
“It’s your daughter too!” Tina breathed out a laughter in disbelief. “Are you getting old already, Porter?” It wasn’t typical when Bette would ignore their crying daughter for just five more minutes of sleep. Guess last night they really went for it… Tina smirked to herself.
Miraculously, the crying stopped, and some shuffling came through the monitor. Then they heard the incredibly angelic giggling of the little girl.
“Awww…” That made the brunette wake up more quickly.
Some footsteps appeared from the hall, accompanied by a teenage boy’s voice.
The sounds were heading toward their room. Though Bette was grateful for the rescue, she was not ready to get out of the comfortable nest made of soft blankets.
Knock-knock.
Bette immediately fell back and shut her eyes, as if she was never awake.
“Come on in, Angelo.” Tina rolled her eyes and shook.
The door clicked open gently, revealed a tall boy holding a 18 month old girl. “Hi ma.” Michelangelo was bouncing the little girl up and down a little, and holding her tiny chubby arm to wave at his blonde mother. “Angelica, say morning, mama. Morning, mommy.” His voice started to break at this age, but it didn’t bother him. He continued to baby talk to his little sister, and teach her to say the words.
Bette couldn’t resist peeping at this adorable scene.
Angelica the little girl, with curly brown hair and healthy honey bronze colored skin, stretched out a hand in the direction of her mothers, and was babbling after her brother. “Mama— moorrning mama…” In the soft sunlight, her eyes were watery, the glimmer of hazel green in her iris curiously shined. She may look a lot like Bette, but she definitely had Tina’s eyes. What a peculiar, yet impeccable combination.
Tina was smiling lovingly at her children. “Hi, babies. Are you hungry? I bet you both are. We’re gonna have to feed our big girl, aren’t we.”

I don’t know. It’s such a relief for me to actually finish a story. And it’s sad for me too.
This story, although originally a little side-away, a break from the other one, now holds a very special place in my experience on this fanfic site.
My readers, your passion and your appreciation fueled my strength all the way to make this happen. I sincerely thank you for that.
Tomorrow my journey to build a life abroad starts. I’m sorry if there’ll be less frequent posts on my other story “The Lucky One”, but I’ll try my best to continue writing.
Forgive me if I can’t reply on the comments in the last chapter. And shoutout to all my friends:
