    Shane’s second thoughts, Sloan and the Inqusition. Some gets a chance to talk.

    Sloan: I am a PA

    Alice: PA

    Tasha: physician assistant

    Tina: wow, I never knew that about Carmen.

    Sloan: I don’t think anyone did. But we been together ever since.

     

     

        In Helena’s office

     

    Carmen: Helena I have something for you

    Helena: what is it?

    Carmen: it is a check for the some of the money for the wedding. It is for 25k

    Helena: (dumfounded;looking at the check) Carmen you don’t have too. Really. It was out of generosity

    Carmen: No I have to; because of us a lot of things happened to you.

    Helena: Wow, I don’t know what to say. I am really lost for words right now Carmen, but it wasn’t yours or Shane’s fault. It was mine fault. Oh, by the way you have a hot friend out there. Carmen laughed, she’s my roommate.

     

           Helena embraced Carmen in a hug

     

    Alice: so are you dating?

    Sloan: not seriously, no why

    Bette: because she’s nosy and has to be in everyone business

    Alice: I am a journalist

    Tasha: you’re nosy

    Sloan: (laughing) it doesn’t matter any way

     

    Carmen was walking back to the table, so what are you guys talking about?

    Sloan: (looking at her) you

    Carmen: (flirting smile) me, why me

    Alice: yeah, trying to find out what you have been up too but Sloan won’t tell us.

    Carmen: (sitting down and kissed Sloan on the edge of her lips) I trained her well.

     

     

         Shane and Jenny decided to go to the planet. When they arrived Shane noticed Carmen and someone else there.

     

    Jenny: oh, look there are the girls and (throwing her hands up in the air) Carmen

    Shane: Jenny, don’t start. We do this every morning; you know this already.

    Jenny: (whining) but she is there

    Shane: and she is still your friend

    Jenny: and you’re ex fiancé                                               

     

             Shane looking at jenny clenches her jaw

                   Walking to the table

    "Good morning everyone" Jenny said being her perky self                                                       

     

            Carmen felt uneasy, knowing Shane was right in front of her

    Shane to Sloan

     

    Shane: I’m Shane

    Sloan: I’m Sloan, nice to meet you Shane

    Jenny: I am jenny; you have the prettiest eyes I ever saw.

     

    Bette: hey Shane, how are you this morning?

     

           Jenny walks to the bar to get her morning coffee and Shane’s shot of espresso

     

    Shane was tired, rolling her eyes. “Let’s just say she is being very jenny today”.

     

           Shane tried her hardest not to look at Carmen

       Carmen was playing with Angie

     

    Carmen: wow, Tina I can’t believe how big she got

    Tina: it makes me wonder where the time went

             Do you want kids one day Sloan?

    Sloan: maybe

    Carmen: (looking at Sloan) why maybe? why not yes?

    Sloan: because I like my freedom no offense to Bette and Tina of course, But maybe one day.

     

    Tina: so Shane, (trying to break the uneasiness that was felt at the table.) What are you up to today?

    Shane: Oh, Alice and I are going too… glancing at Carmen

    Alice: yeah, downtown, we have to go downtown today

          Carmen glanced back at Shane

    Carmen: well, ladies I think I am going to go.

    Sloan: yeah, I got to get ready for shift

    Tasha: how many days do you work?

    Sloan: well I go on shift tonight at 7. It’s a 7 to 7 shift. Threes and twos

    Carmen: I will be right back. I want to say bye to Kit and Helena

    Sloan: I’ll meet you outside

    Jenny was looking down at the menu. "Shane what do you want to eat"?

        Shane ignored jenny and was steady fast to Kit’s office. By the time Jenny looked up she was gone

         Shane caught up to Carmen

    Shane: hey, Carmen can I talk to you.

    Carmen: there’s nothing to say to you. I have nothing to say to you.

    Shane: can I call you sometime. Just to talk. Please!

             Carmen couldn’t believe her ears. Is this really happening?

    Carmen: well, look here is my number, but it is only to talk

    Shane: can I call you tonight

    Carmen: (tilting her head) Shane, I don’t know

    Shane: I mean if it’s okay with you new girlfriend

    Carmen: "she is not my…..you know what" scratching her top lip. "Okay you can call me"

    1. I can totally picture Jenny reacting that way to Carmen being at the Planet – whiny and annoying. So is Carmen trying to make Sloan jealous by having Shane call her? What’s going on in Carmen’s head? (I noticed she’s scratching her lip) Hmm.
