    Chapter II.V

     

               It was closing time for the club and the girls were getting ready to leave. Carmen text Sloan but never got an answer.

    Bette: Carmen are you okay to drive? Because I can drive you home.

    Carmen: I was looking for Sloan but I think she left already.

    Alice: I can take her home, Carmen where do you live by the way.

    Carmen: I live out towards the beach

    Alice: wow, by the beach.

     

             Tasha spotted at the valet " there is Sloan"

    Carmen: where?

    Alice: I think she is with someone

    Carmen: (feeling woozy) can’t be her car is a two seated

    Alice: well we will take you home anyway?

     

     

           Sloan actually got into her car by herself and headed home.

    Carmen and Alice drove home and arrived first.

    Alice: we are having an anniversary party for Bette and Tina. I think you and Sloan should come

    Carmen: when is it?

    Alice: first weekend of august, it’s their twelve year

    Carmen: wow, twelve years together. One day I want to be like them

    Alice: tell me about it

     

     

        Alice pulled up to Carmen’s house

     

    Alice: wow, nice place

    Carmen: its home. actually this is Sloan’s house

    Alice: okay, well I will call you tomorrow. Are you still coming to the planet?

    Carmen: (tipsy) yea, I have to see Helena

     

           Just then Sloan pulled up to the house

    Carmen: well there goes Sloan… (Drunken wave) Hi! Honey

    Sloan: Wow, you’re so drunk (grinning) see  you having a good time

    "I know". holding her finger in front of her mouth. I did have a wonderfuld time with my friends.

    " Alice, Tasha. Thanks for bringing her home"

    Carmen: (puts her arm around Sloan’s waist) you left me

    Sloan: (kissing her on the temple) my bad I thought you had your car and I saw you talking to your friends

    Alice: well, goodnight roomies

    Sloan: come on Carmen let’s get inside. You smell like alcohol

    Carmen: I didn’t drink that much. I can still walk

    Sloan: is that why you are walking on the grass, not on the pavement.

    Carmen: you know sometimes I hate you. You always have to be a smartass

    1. I can totally picture Jenny reacting that way to Carmen being at the Planet – whiny and annoying. So is Carmen trying to make Sloan jealous by having Shane call her? What’s going on in Carmen’s head? (I noticed she’s scratching her lip) Hmm.
