Chapter VII

Morning

       The next morning came, only to have Carmen and Chloe standing in the kitchen.

Carmen: (angry) what are you doing here?

Chloe: I stood with Sloan last night; I was taking care of her. She said as she wiped the excess lip gloss off from around her mouth with her finger.

          Carmen raised her eyebrow.

Chloe: you were too busy with Shane.

Carmen: she could’ve come and got me.

Chloe: (devilish smile) don’t worry I took care of her (licking her lips)

         Shane walks into the kitchen

Chloe: guess I wasn’t the only one to stay over.  Chloe began to scan Shane up and Down walking away.

        Carmen was looking at Shane.

Shane: hey, (kissing her lips) what’s the matter? You look like you are going to kill someone

Carmen: yeah, her

Shane: what did she do to you?

Carmen: I just don’t like her

Shane: I am pretty sure whatever it is Sloan will fix it.

          Carmen gave Shane furrowed her eyebrows at Shane.

Carmen: What does that mean?

Shane: (drinking her coffee) nothing, I was just saying….

Carmen: you will never understand

Shane: but I understand this. Shane began kissing Carmen

          Sloan walked into the kitchen, clearing her throat,” ya’know there is a place called a room”.

Shane and Carmen stopped mid kiss, Carmen wiped her lips

Carmen turned around and running her hand through her hair. “Hi, I didn’t know you were there”

Sloan: how could you? You were busy.

       The weeks kept coming faster and faster, everything that was once simple in Carmen’s world was getting worse and worse by the day. She was still messing around with Shane and flirting with Sloan. How can she do this to Jenny? What she said she will never do to anyone else, and Sloan doesn’t even care that I bring Shane home? She thought to herself as she continued to get ready for work.

Shane: hey, I m going to get ready to leave

Carmen: O, okay well call me later (kissing Shane on the lips)

Shane: you want to come with me; I am going to the planet before going into work
