“Well… maybe it’s because it’s your first experience?” Bette immediately regretted those last words but then again she had to be honest, to herself and to Tina. Perhaps this was what she had been missing all her life, but it certainly wasn’t fair to the blonde to limit herself given the fact that this was her first gay experience. So maybe she needed to go out and meet other women and experience other things and see for herself what is out there, and then decide if this was worth the shot.
“Do you seriously think that?” Tina immediately asked feeling a bit confused at the brunette’s question.
“Look… I can only tell you how I feel but…” Bette made a pause trying to carefully choose her next words.
“But what?”
“But I can’t assume that you feel the same way I do” For the love of God Porter… do not keep exposing yourself… don’t you fucking dare…
“I don’t know much at the moment Bette, I’m not gonna lie to you… but I can tell you this much… this has never happened to me before and I… I would love to see where this takes us… if you’re willing to do the same” Tina shyly admitted for she apparently was the brave one in this situation.
“Of course I’m willing to see where this takes us” Bette said with a shy smile on her face. You make me feel things I’ve never felt before… you make me feel alive… Of course Bette didn’t actually verbalize those thoughts.
Tina smiled brightly and leant forward capturing the chef’s lips in a sweet kiss.
“I’m glad you are”
After some more hugging and kissing and laughing in bed they decided to get up and prepare some much needed food.
Bette was preparing their brunch while Tina was gathering everything they needed to eat and spend the rest of the day on the beach. Since it was their last day and they were both exhausted from the previous days’ activities they decided it was the wisest to just lay low for the afternoon.
Once everything was ready and packed they took their time in selecting the perfect spot on the beach, although they were actually alone there.

This is a great story and I really wish that Bette would be totally honest with Tina. She knows shr is falling for her completely and so has Tina fallen for her. Bette just needs to be empkatic about not being hurt by Tina.Although she did mention it, I’m not sure Tina really understood how much pain she would be in if Tina walked away. However I don’t think Tina would walk away even if she is a bit afraid. The difference is if Tina’s family strongly disapproved, especially her mother/ We shall see how it plays out. Great chapter. Thanks.

The holiday is over, it’s back to reality for them… Hopefully neither of them retreats too much and they make time to date. Every time I see you’ve posted, it makes me smile. Thanks for the chapter. :)
