    The one where Tina talks about Bette and they continue to get used to being a family

    “Thought you couldn’t cook “

    “I can’t but if I take the whole day and follow the instructions in a really simple cook book I can usually come up with something she likes. In the summer I will invite the three of you round for one of my Ozzy’s barbeques in the summer- I can cook a dream in the garden – bit more of a problem in the house. You know more than anyone else what to do to make her smile”

    Tina grinned“Well ?” Casey challenged

    “She likes sexy lingerie “

    “Which lesbian doesn’t ?”

    Tina thought about it “I have got a bit but nothing new “

    Casey raised one eyebrow “ You up for some shopping later ?”

    Tina thought about how low Bette had seemed in the last couple of days and that she had been only half interested in their physical relationship.

    “I know that I was 50% responsible for our problems when she had her affair. I should have made more of an effort “

    “Effort is a two way thing “

    “Sometimes Bette just needs a push in the right direction and I used to get fed up with being the one doing the pushing . I want to stop any problems before they happen. She’s been through so much and she does need some TLC “

    “Something lacy and black ?” Casey suggested

    Tina laughed “Maybe lacy and red – start a new trend “

    “Oh – good choice “

    “One of the things that I know Bette takes seriously is providing for us – she’s very well off but she will want to do even better – especially as she has her heart set on Angie following her to Harvard “

    Casey laughed “Oh – alpha mamma “

    “I think she is joking – well at the moment she is but there is no way on this earth that it has not crossed her mind that she wants Angie to have the best education possible “

    “Jess is a UCLA girl “

    “Ideally we would both be working “

    “No brother or sister for Angie ?”

    “I want another baby but things are far too new. Bette and I need to be together for at least another year before we try for a baby “

    3. Great one again, AllyE. Have thought since Tina lost out on the job that she wanted that it was helena being a bad ass and bad mouthing her that lost that job for her. The people were all set to hire her and after the LA interview they didn’t. Helena got wind of it and somehow scotched it for her. I thought that Bette should have talked to Peggy or called in some markers from friends to get that taken care of. Helena should not be allowed to get away with her actions just because Tina chose to be with Bette. Hope it can be turned around for her and they call her back to the job. Thanks for posting.

    8. Thank you for the update on NYM, but you had already posted chapter 39, I guess it was just a refresher, due to the time span. I loved it Angie is the best nd you write her so well. B&T are of course awesome.
