    The one where Tina talks about Bette and they continue to get used to being a family

    “Does she live close ?”

    “The middle of the outback would be too close in my book – I am not worried – Jess loves me and Bella – but it’s the sort of thing that I think about too much“

    “I have finally given Bette the family that she has wanted her whole life – its me. I knew what buttons to push to almost punish her when she would get home at some crazy hour of the day. “ Tina had been thinking a lot of dark thoughts for the last few days and it was good or bad – depending on your view point to voice them “I don’t want to be that bitch again “

    “Do you think you will be ?”

    Tina looked at Casey “I don’t know – I hope not. Bette’s been utterly fantastic. She will do anything for Angie and me – she idolises us and there is nothing that she won’t do for us. I know her business suffered when everyone expected her to be back but she was in LA with Angie and me”

    “How long have the two of you been back together ?”

    “Since November “

    “So the two of you are still hot ?”

    Tina grinned “ We do okay – I know she’s tired at the moment -she should be working much longer hours than she is. Angie won’t go to bed unless Bette’s home so she brings work back and then it doesn’t all get done because she ends up reading to her or talking – boy can Angie talk. Then we end up just watching a movie. She’s amazing “

    Casey raised her eyebrows “ I took a decision about ten weeks ago to make it a project of mine to take good care of Jess “

    Tina laughed at the inference “ Good care ?”

    “Very good care – its about showing her how much I appreciate all she does for us as a family and just spoiling her. She buys us presents and pays for holidays. I am not poor but I can’t compete with her in terms of money “

    Tina nodded in agreement – that was true of her and Bette.

    “I wouldn’t dream of speaking for you and Bette or any other lesbian couple but Jess likes to be made a fuss over and I like to dress up and indulge her fantasies. Its not all sexual – sometimes its just cooking her favourite meal”

    3. Great one again, AllyE. Have thought since Tina lost out on the job that she wanted that it was helena being a bad ass and bad mouthing her that lost that job for her. The people were all set to hire her and after the LA interview they didn’t. Helena got wind of it and somehow scotched it for her. I thought that Bette should have talked to Peggy or called in some markers from friends to get that taken care of. Helena should not be allowed to get away with her actions just because Tina chose to be with Bette. Hope it can be turned around for her and they call her back to the job. Thanks for posting.

    8. Thank you for the update on NYM, but you had already posted chapter 39, I guess it was just a refresher, due to the time span. I loved it Angie is the best nd you write her so well. B&T are of course awesome.
