    Tina is at a crossroad. Does she go towards Bette? Did Fate and Destiny make a terrible mistake? Drama lurking…

     

    Tina for the first time this night had a glimmer of a smile.

     

    “Well, we do have a lot of great sex” Tina managed to emit a light laugh.

     

    “Yes, we do, baby.  Honey, she may come around and she may not.  She may never speak to you again or may come to her senses and realize that she said some really awful things to her daughter.   What you as your own person have to decide is whatever you’re experiencing in your personal life is worth the possibility of losing some or all of your family.”

     

    Tina began to cry again.  Bette put her hand on Tina’s cheek.

     

    “If you feel you cannot be without them for any period of time, I will understand.  I have to understand.  I don’t own you.  I will be sad, there’s no doubt about that, but I want ‘us’ only if you’re truly happy.  It would break my heart more to know that deep inside there was a part of you that regretted your decision or choice to be with me.”

    “Look, I don’t care how you do it.   Find out more.”

     

    “The price of info is cheap when I have what they need.”

     

    “Good.  Just don’t do anything physical – That will be my pleasure.”

     

    “Yeah, you always did like the physical part, didn’t you?  I remember it well.”

     

    “Shut the fuck up.   Can’t help it if I liked the fucking and you liked the drugs.  Later.”

     

    “Yeah, later.”

    Tina was slowly coming round to herself and she knew it was because Bette was here with her.

     

    “Bette, I”

     

    “No, Tbaby, I want you to get some sleep tonight.  Don’t say anything you haven’t really thought out.  This is way too fresh and raw.  I will stand by and accept whatever you tell me after tonight.  I don’t want you telling me anything because I’m in front of you now.  One decision you could make will be one that will change your life forever – and it will change how many, if not all, the people in your life look at you and think about you.”

    4. Arceextl,I am right beside you in dreamland. This fantasy is so much more gratifying than the depression that Season 3 brings. How can you dismiss nearly 9 years of your life with someone as if it was an old pair of socks ready for the goodwill bag? I adore this story and am now very intrigued to read what will happen next? Who exactly is this new character? Is Tina in danger given her high profile job that necessiates putting bad people in prison?     5. this chapter made me shaky…i’m sort of hoping for the right decision from tina, but i’m scared for that guy, i think he’s after tina because she’s on this drug case…i hope she won’t get hurt, or get amnesia, or get cancer or get killed or get kidnapped or say no to bette or any other crap that keeps happening to our beloved B&T in many other stories…keep them alive and together, please

    17. OMG….what a cliffy!!!!! You can’t let us wait long for Tinas answer PLEASE :o))….I don’t like that guy, he is definitely bad news, but Bette will be there too save Tina, I know it!!! LOL

    20. RC..great update. Looks like the drug dealer’s case is going to get up close and personal with Tina and Bette. Somehow, the guy is going to use information from the check-in book (BPorter) to get to Tina. Bette did the right thing in being there for Tina and then leaving. Tina needs to make this decision without feeling obligated to Bette being there. RC..that was really get dialogue between B & T. Thanks for the update, please continue.
