    Mother and son, reunited at last

    “Peter, my son…”

    Kit’s arms engulfed him and hid her tears in his mass of thick curly hair “My son…”

    “Mom…”

    Bette and Tina were standing side by side; both had tears in their eyes as they witnessed the amazing reunion. Tina was so happy knowing that she was an instrument of bringing them back together. While the brunette was looking at the newly reunited mother and son, she slowly held Tina’s hand. The blonde gasped at the contact and looked at the brunette who was now staring at her with a grateful smile on her face

    “Thank you so much Tina” Bette whispered

    Tina returned a warm smile. The two women hugged. Both women felt how great it was to be in that moment, to be part of something so extraordinary special. 

    After everything that had happened between them more than a year ago, who would have thought that Bette and Tina would reach this stage where both women now at ease and comfortable with each other and very much welcoming this new found friendship

    “All my life I keep on wondering where you are, I kept on asking the stars if you are still alive, but I never stopped hoping that one day we’ll see each other again mom”

    Kit tightened her embrace, afraid that Peter would disappear if she let him go

    “Every night I pray to God to always keep you from harm, every night I say to him that I would give everything and anything just to see you and to hold you in my arms. You were always in my heart and mind Peter, I’m so sorry for leaving you in the orphanage baby but at that time that was the only solution that I know. If only I can turn back the hands of time, I would but I couldn’t. I’m very sorry son; I hope that you’ll find in your heart to forgive me” Kit said in between sobs

    “Mom I’ve forgiven you a long time ago”

    “Oh thank you, thank you I love you so much Peter” the older Porter said as she showered her son with small kisses

    “I love you too mom”

    Tina introduced Peter first to her mom, Jean before Kit brought him home. Tears flowed again when they talked about Kit and Peter’s lives, how Bette looked for Kit, how Peter ended up in Tina’s house, Tina hiring a private investigator to discover Peter’s roots and so forth.

    1. Oh phacey what a nice and happy reunion! That meeting between kit and peter was really touching it made me cry and I’m glad that finally Kit and peter found each other. In this chapter Bette seemed more mature than who she was in the beginning of the story and i think Tina is still having problem dealing with relationships. My guess is that this “talk” between her and Sam might be the end of their relationship and I’m crossing my fingers lol!!! Thanks for the great update hun!

    2. Lovely chapter. It’s great that Kit can have her son back in her life now especially now that she has the ability to care for him properly and give him what he needs; all the love she can possibly give him, the education that he needs, the stability that he needs and any material things that he might want since in his short life he has had virtually nothing, not even his own room. I think Tina was right in checking out his story and finding everything was just as he said but I wish that she had brought them together earlier when she first found out the info. They need each other, all of them. Now is the time for Tina to end things with Sam which she never should have started in the first place. Can’t wait.

    5. What a reunion!…here I thought the worse thing would happened[yeah boo me :P].. pero at least Friends na ulit sila.. Cuz it is hard to be friends to your former love… thanks phacey.

    7. Hey phacey, thanks for the update. So glad Peter is finally reunited with his family and that Kit is now in a position to be a great mother and to give him not only love but the material comforts of a good home, a great education, and a sense of belonging. Tina’s nature and her penchant for dishonesty still bothers me. If she didn’t have ulterior motives there would be no reason to keep Peter a secret from her mother or Sam even if she was waiting to confirm his identity before telling Kit. What is she afraid of? Looking forward to the next update.

    13. The tears are overtaking my eyes I cant suppress them. This was amazing, loving, painful, terrifying, emotional, all at once. Im so sad that Bette and Tina didn’t get back together but what’s done is done! Only time will tell now….Please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please finish this story!!!
