    Susan invites the gang; Tina, wakeup and smell the coffee; Alice smells a skunk; HellNO just stinks

    “She’s just being friendly, Al.  She didn’t do anything.  Why is everybody so afraid of Bette – oh, never mind, I don’t know why I even asked that.” Tina just waved her hand and drank her coffee.

     

    Nice and friendly, Susan.  Let them get to know you.  This is a tight group.  And I think it’s a partnership now – Piesecki & McCutcheon Security.  Neither one of them misses a thing.  I can’t get Tina over to my place any other way than by having this barbeque.  At least she’ll know how to get there when it’s time.  The Rolling Stones ran through her head, ‘Time is on my side – Yes, it is.

    Sunday

     

     

    “I thought her business went under.” Alice said to Dana as they parked in front of Susan’s house.

     

    “Yeah, pretty nice house, eh?” Dana said.

     

    The front door was open so they just walked in.

     

    “Hey, you made it.  Great.  Go ahead out to the back.  Everybody else is out there.”  Susan said, grabbing a few drinks from the refrigerator.

     

    “Great house, Susan.  How’d you pull this off?” Alice asked.  “YOW!! What the ***** did you kick me for, Dana?”

     

    “It’s none of our business, Al.  Come on.”

     

    “No, it’s okay, guys.  I had to sell my business, Al, to cover a lot of debt I had.   I was pretty successful and had a lot of pretty wealthy clients, so I got a great price from one of the other competing landscaping companies.   There was enough money to pay off my debts and rent this house for a year when I moved out here.   I figured a year would give me enough time to figure out if California was the right move for me.”

     

    And, Alice, if you do your snooping, that’s exactly what you’ll find outthat LaFay Landscaping was purchased by Callahan Brothers for a sizeable sum.   Although the fact that nearly all of it went to cover my gambling debts won’t be in the financials.

     

    Susan could see Alice‘s mind already at work.  But she was satisfied that if she did want to do any snooping – and everyone knew Alice loved to be the snooper – that all she would find out is the sale of her company did happen.  As a matter of fact, if she tries to Google it – and she knew Alice would – LaFay Landscaping web address should be redirected at this point to the company that bought her out, Callahan Brothers Landscaping.

    2. Susan really has no idea who she is effing with. Alice will definitely uncover the dirt; and not just the shit that Susan has so carefully planted (pun intended). Susan, had better step up her A game if she remotely thinks she came come between B ‘n ‘ T.

      Dana is a sweetheart, but I’ll be happy when one of you FF writers gives her a damn clue. I’ve read so many stories where each character has been either taken out of their element or something was added that changes the overall person we’ve come to know and love. But Dana has never had a brain. I’d be happy if she could have 1 for at least 1 chapter….puhlezeeeee.

      Helena is a weapon of mass destruction! She is going to be the cause of her own detonation…..ya heard it right here!…mark my words!

    6. aLICE WILL FIND OUT MORE THAN sUSAN WILL THINK SHE WILL To heck with google she will dig deeper than than. Knowing Alice she might make a side trip to NJ. Helene will be her own down fall. Plus old candace will never have Bette except Bette foot up her A%% . So watch out for Shane,and Alice but more so Bette

    11. k having spent the weekend with b&tf and watching the creative juices flowing from you authors. gawd. i dont know what you do to figure this shit out with the drama. honestly where do you go to come up with this deviousness on the part of these fucking crazy people. -_+ scares me just a little hahaha. some of these people just need to fall into black holes.

    12. As unhealthy this story is for me and my hopeless romantic sense, I can’t help but keep glued to it! This literally makes my blood boil, to know that Hellena is out there playing puppet master to destroy Bette and Tina’s finally-happy life.

    13. RC…I think Al is a good enough reporter to find out some of the truth about Susan. She may be crazy sometimes but when it comes to finding out secrets…no one can compete with Al. I think the talk that Bette had with Susan may have hurt given Susan a slight advantage, because now everyone isn’t as on guard as they previously were — except Al. Everyone thinks Susan has already been warned by Bette, so they assume she’s not a threat — but she IS. Helena needs to growth the F*%K up…she’s such a spoiled, stuck-up B@%$h. Thanks for the chapter.
