Life with Mom and Tina Ch 68

“I promise.” Jess said. She still hadn’t made her mind up whether she was going to tell Laurie the truth or not.

“Now tell me what the doctor said.” Laurie demanded.

“He said I could play.” Jess said trying to be evasive.

“Well I know that what else did he say.” Laurie wasn’t going to give up until she had gotten the whole truth out of Jess. There was a tense silence. “It isn’t going away is it” She said looking up at Jess.

    “No.” Jess said.

“Oh babe I’m sorry.” She said.

“Don’t be. I still get to play and I get to be with you.” Jess said.

“But still won’t playing make it worse.” Laurie said. She was getting upset.

“No babe he said that there was no way to tell what would make it worse or better. I am going to try meditation to get through the headaches.” Jess said. She looked down at Laurie. She was crying. “Babe don’t cry its going to be okay.” They sat up and Jess held her trying to console her.

“But I don’t know what I would do if I lost you.” Laurie sobbed.

“You aren’t going to lose me I swear.” Jess said. Jess held her until she calmed down. “Come on lets get out of here.”

“Okay.” Laurie said. They gathered their stuff and walked arm and arm to the car.

Jess and Laurie sat in Laurie’s room. Jess laid on the bed and watched Laurie do her homework.

“Where are your parents?” Jess asked.

“Dad is in Germany I think and mom is in Tahiti with her latest boy toy.” Laurie said.

“I thought you said you had to go to your grandmothers for Thanksgiving.” Jess said.

“I do. Dad is flying in tomorrow night and then we are flying out on Saturday.” Laurie said.

“So we have the house to ourselves for 24 hours.” Jess said.

“Yes with the exception of the maids in the morning.” Laurie said not looking up from her homework.

Jess didn’t say anything. The pause made Laurie smile. She looked at her. Jess was just laying there with a grin on her face.

Jess got of the bed and walked over to the desk where was sitting. She started kissing her neck.

“How much do have left?” Jess asked.

“Just Math and proof reading a paper.” Laurie said.

“Oh.” Jess said in a disappointing tone. She stopped kissing Laurie’s neck and backed off.

“Where are you going?” She asked.

“To get some ice cream from your mom’s stash. You want some.” Jess said.

“Why are you going to get ice cream?” Laurie asked knowing the answer.

“Because if I stay up here. You won’t get your homework finished.” Jess said and disappeared out the door.

Laurie smiled and tried to get back to work but couldn’t concentrate on anything except what she wanted to do to Jess and what she wanted Jess to do to her.

She decided she was going to surprise Jess when she got back so she let all the candles in the room and turned on some music. She hid behind the open door.

Jess walked back in the room and stopped. She looked around and smiled. She took the spoon from her mouth.

“Babe. where are you.” She looked around. “Laurie.”

Laurie appeared shirtless from the behind the door and walked slowly behind Jess. She wrapped her arms around Jess’s stomach.

“There you are. What about your homework?” Jess asked.

“If we are cutting tomorrow I won’t have to turn anything in now will I.” Laurie said.

“I thought you hated cutting school.” Jess said remembering Laurie fussing at her for cutting one day to go surfing with her cousin Bobby.

“I think I could make an exception just this once.” Laurie said moving in front of Jess.

“Really. Wouldn’t that be obvious.” Jess said.

“I don’t care anymore I got you back and I am never letting go.” Laurie said.

“Works for me.” Jess said sitting the bowl down on the chair.

    1. Maybe its me, but what exactly is wrong with Jess besides the headaches. And why aren’t we telling Bette and Tina. Cutting school to fool around, works for me.

    2. Bette and Tina need to know that Jesse may be in more trouble than she is letting on. I hope that the mediation thingy works for her. Maybe Laurie can get Jess to open up to her moms. Can’t wait for the next chapter.

    3. Charmed, Jess needs to tell her mothers the whole truth and let them support her through this tough time. Laurie is there but your family deserves the truth and opportunity to be there. At least it seems to be non fatal so with a bit of luck maybe these migraine will dissipate over time. Everything is finally coming together so trust fate to throw a spanner into the works now. Please continue soon. Thank you for your productive authoring. Your Loyal Fan.
