Life with Mom and Tina Ch 68

“Well we were quite the rebels. How does Jess know?” Isabelle asked.

“That’s how Andy used to get her to sleep at night.” Bette said.

    “I see.” She said.

    They watched the kids practicing.

“I know he is only five and in kindergarten but I would like to have join the junior riders after Christmas.” Isabelle said.

“What are the Junior Riders?” Bette asked.

“Its an after school training program for the younger kids before they join the equestrian team at 8. We don’t compete for anything other than a competition we hold at the school they only compete against each other. We just practice. Its the next step after the program he is in now.” Isabelle said.

“I don’t know. I would have to discuss it with Tina and Ian.” Bette said.

“That is perfectly okay. I brought you the information on the program for you to look at. I don’t need to know until a couple days before classes start back after Christmas break.” Isabelle said.

“Okay we will let you know.” Bette said.

“Great.” Isabelle said and started to get up. “Is Julie coming into town for Thanksgiving?” She asked.

“No not that I know of. Why?” Bette asked prying a little.

“I was just going to go by and see her that’s all.” She answered. Bette could tell that there was something more going on.

“Do you have plans for the holiday?” Bette asked.

    “No.” She answered.

“You should come eat with us at The Planet.” Bette said.

    “I couldn’t intrude.” Isabelle said.

“Don’t be silly. If Andy was still around you would be practically family. Ian would love for you to come.” Bette said.

    “I don’t know.” She said.

“Come on it will be fun. We have a big Party.” Bette said.

“Okay I guess I will.” Isabelle said.

“All right we usually eat at 1 but everyone starts to get there at noon and the party lasts into the night.” Bette said.

“Okay I will see you then.” Isabelle said walking off.

    1. Maybe its me, but what exactly is wrong with Jess besides the headaches. And why aren’t we telling Bette and Tina. Cutting school to fool around, works for me.

    2. Bette and Tina need to know that Jesse may be in more trouble than she is letting on. I hope that the mediation thingy works for her. Maybe Laurie can get Jess to open up to her moms. Can’t wait for the next chapter.

    3. Charmed, Jess needs to tell her mothers the whole truth and let them support her through this tough time. Laurie is there but your family deserves the truth and opportunity to be there. At least it seems to be non fatal so with a bit of luck maybe these migraine will dissipate over time. Everything is finally coming together so trust fate to throw a spanner into the works now. Please continue soon. Thank you for your productive authoring. Your Loyal Fan.
