Life with Mom and Tina Ch 68

    Previously:

Jess sat in one of the chairs in Doctor Hill’s office. He walked in and sat down.

“Are you sure you don’t want your moms in here?” H e asked.

“Its not going away is it.” Jess said.

“No Jess it doesn’t look like it.” Dr. Hill said.

Jess looked out the window and a tear ran down her face.

“Okay. I want you to clear me to play softball.” Jess said.

    “I don’t think that’s a good idea.” He said.

“Well I do. Its the only thing. It doesn’t hurt any worse playing than it does when I’m not.” Jess said.

“I understand that but you suffered a severe brain injury a short time ago. I don’t think playing softball is the best thing for you to do.” Dr. Hill said.

“You said that the injured area wasn’t going away. Is going to go away in the future.” She asked.

“There is no way to know that.” He said.

“I don’t think I sit by and watch my life pass me by while I am waiting to see if it will.” Jess said.

“Okay. I see that you are adamant about this. so. I am going to clear you to play, but you have to understand you may only make it worse. I am also going to require you to do two things.” He said

    “What are they?” Jess said.

“That you tell your parents what is going on and that you try the meditation. It has worked in the past when other therapies haven’t. I want you to go see Julia Hill. She’s my wife is a very good. I had appointment set up with her tomorrow at 4:00.” He said and handed Jess a card.

“What is she a shrink or a Meditation expert?” Jess said.

“She’s both. The only way you are getting cleared to play is to see her twice a week. In a month we will do another scan.” Dr. Hill said.

“Okay. Will you tell everything except the part about it not going away?” Jess asked.

“I will but I really think they should know everything.” Dr. Hill said.

“I can’t do that to them. They are finally happy. We are all happy. I can’t.” Jess said.

    1. Maybe its me, but what exactly is wrong with Jess besides the headaches. And why aren’t we telling Bette and Tina. Cutting school to fool around, works for me.

    2. Bette and Tina need to know that Jesse may be in more trouble than she is letting on. I hope that the mediation thingy works for her. Maybe Laurie can get Jess to open up to her moms. Can’t wait for the next chapter.

    3. Charmed, Jess needs to tell her mothers the whole truth and let them support her through this tough time. Laurie is there but your family deserves the truth and opportunity to be there. At least it seems to be non fatal so with a bit of luck maybe these migraine will dissipate over time. Everything is finally coming together so trust fate to throw a spanner into the works now. Please continue soon. Thank you for your productive authoring. Your Loyal Fan.
