“I am still trying to get my head around that.” Bette said.

“I have an idea. Jess has school break in a couple of weeks why don’t we go on a family vacation. We haven’t gone away as a family in long time. If we don’t go know in a year we will be like pulling teeth to get Jess to do anything with us as a family. The boys are old enough now.” Tina said trying to cheer Bette up.

“Where would we go?” Bette asked intrigued with the thought of getting away and maybe getting some alone time with Tina.

“How about that little town on the Oregon coast that we went to a couple years ago?” Tina asked.

“Its the off season there would be nothing for the kids to do.” Bette said.

“That’s right.” Tina said.

“Why don’t we go to the ranch for a week? That way the Jess will have something to do and we won’t have to stay at a hotel with the boys.” Bette said.

“The last time we went up their was about a year and half ago. Remember we went just before the boys were born.” Tina said.

“Yeah we have been so busy with everything else and Jess with softball and school.” Bette said.

“You are a genius babe.” Tina said kissing Bette. “We will defiantly be able to be alone up there.” Bette grinned at her.

“We are alone now.” Bette said.

“We almost are Jess isn’t asleep yet.” Tina said. Bette kissed her.

The Next Day

Jess sat with Kelly, Shannon and Becca outside the field.

“So Jess are you going with Hayden and us to the game this weekend?” Becca asked.

“Yep.” Jess said. Prue pulled up. “I got to go guys.” Jess stood up.

“You are going running with us in the morning aren’t you?” Shannon asked.

“Yeah. What time?” Jess asked.

“I’ll be there to get at 6.” Shannon said.

“Okay I’ll see you in the morning.” Jess said opening the door.

“Hey kiddo how was practice?” Prue asked.

“Fine.” Jess answered.

“Good. I have something special planned for us tonight.” Prue said.

“Mama said you did. What is it?” Jess asked. Ian cooed in the back seat.
