    Author Notes:

    We find out Bette’s secret and a the Family gains another.


    Previously:

    Tina snapped out her coma when Bette removed her fingers and moved half way off of her.

    “Oh my God Babe that was amazing.” Tina managed to get out as her breathing was calming.

    “I am glad you enjoyed it.” Bette said kissing her.

     



    Bette stared out of the window. She occasionally glanced down at Tina who was sleeping beside her. She was deep in thought.

    “Babe.” Tina whispered groggily.

    “I sorry did I wake you?” Bette asked.

    “No. What are you thinking about?” Tina asked putting her hand on Bettes cheek.

    “Nothing.” She said letting Tina wrap her arms around her.


    “I know. You dont have to do anything about it until you and she are ready.” Tina said.

    “I think we should call the contractor on Monday to see about getting the other room finished.” Bette whispered.

    “Does that mean what I think it means?” Tina asked. Bette got out of the bed and walked over to her purse.

    She pulled out an envelop and handed it to Tina. Tina opened the letter and started to read. Tears came to her eyes.

    “Are you sure that you are okay with this?” Bette asked her sitting down next to her.

    “I told you when you first told me that I was and I havent changed my mind.” Tina said as she gave Bette a kiss. Bette smiled she was excited and nervous all at the same time.

    “When are you going to tell Jess?” Tina asked.

    “Sunday I thought I would take her to the park where we used to go.” Bette said with a quivering voice.

    “Do you want me to go?” Tina asked. Bette looked into Tinas eyes and kissed her.

    “No This is something that I need to do.” Bette said.

    “Okay.” Tina said. She wiped the tears off of Bettes cheeks and then off of hers. “How long do we have before..?”

    “According to that not long. I thought that the we could go see her tomorrow after Jess leaves.” Bette said.

    “Okay.” Tina said hugging Bette and holding her close.

    THE NEXT DAY

    Jess stood in her bathroom fixing her hair. She had on blue jean shorts and a pink American Eagle shirt. Ian was on the floor standing at her table playing with a toy horse.

    6. This chapter was very touching. I hope that Shannon will one day accept her family. Both Jess and Shannon already know each other so hopefully they can become true sisters.

    9. Great update, love the story. Looks as though there will be adjustments for everyone. Losing her mother will be very hard for Shannon and everyone will feel the tension. I only hope she lets them help her through the transition and the death of her mother. There is a whole lot of love in that house and hopefully Shannon will let it surround her. She is young and change can be difficult for teenagers. Thanks for the post. Post again soon please.
