“It is.” Jess said.

“Okay then that is what we will do.” Tina said.

Jess and Tina walked in and sat at the table that Kit and Marina always had reserved.

“Hey girls.” Marina said.

“Hey Marina” they said.

“What can I get you guys?” Marina said.

“What do you got tonight?” Jess asked.

“We have some soup left and some of those chicken salad sandwiches that you like.” Marina said.

“oh good that is what I want.” Jess said.

“And I will have the same.” Tina said. Some girl was doing an awful rendition of Like a Virgin. “I am glad you wanted to come here it is so much fun.”

“Yeah I like to watch the people who can’t sing.” Jess said with a smile. Alice and Dana walked in and sat with them.

“Hey Al, Where’s coach Lilly?” Jess asked taking a bite of her sandwich.

“She is meeting with a girl that she wants to get on her new team.” Alice said.

“Kelly.” Jess said.

“How did you know?” Tina asked.

“Because she is coming to talk to you guys tomorrow.” Jess said.

“When were you going to tell us?” Tina asked.

“I did tell you yesterday, but you weren’t listening so I put the paper on the fridge. So you would see it.” Jess said.

“Okay I look at when we get home.” Tina said.

“So Jess do you want to go play for Lilly?” Alice asked. Jess nodded yes because she had a mouth full.

“Well only if Kelly goes.” Jess added.

“Even if that means that you would have to switch schools?” Tina asked.

“Yeah. I always wanted to play with Coach Lilly this way I get to do it sooner.” Jess said. Tina’s cell rang.

“Hello? Oh hi babe. We are at the Planet. What are they doing there. They do? Okay we will come now.” Tina hung up the phone.

“Jess we have to go Kelly and her parents and Lilly and the school recruiter are at the house and want us to all discuss the options together.”

“Okay can I take my smoothie in the car?” Jess asked.

“If you are careful.” Tina said.
