    Match maid in heaven..

     

    “For the nth time, there’s none!” Tina reiterated with a frown. “At the estate, people assigned to Bette are generally paid more than the rest of the hired help – the salary’s ten times higher, I think. The harder the job, the greater the pay. And there’s no harder work than being Bette’s lackey – Gabe, if you only know how insufferable her demands could be sometimes! Its a good thing that her dad knows how to compensate his employees fairly.”

     

    “How fairly?” Gabe asked, intrigued.

     

    Tina leaned closer to her friend, hazel eyes twinkling. “You wouldn’t believe.” She breathed out in amazement.

     

    “Yeah?”

     

    “The pay is beyond great and the perks and benefits? They’ll blow your mind away! I get a daily allowance, my own room, I’m assigned my own driver, bodyguards, the works. It’s insane!” Tina raved. She never even realized how loaded Sonja was until she told her how much she earned in a week as Bette’s maid. The woman could practically retire and buy her own pricey condo with a view of Central Park if she wanted to – but Tina knew that would never happen because Sonja was too attached to Bette to ever leave her side. Talk about being a martyr.

     

    “Blondie?” Gabe murmured, his gaze far away.

     

    “Hm?”

     

    “Does Bette need a new personal assistant?”

     

    “No.”

     

    “A butler?”

     

    “Nope.”

     

    “How about a driver?”

     

    “I don’t think so.”

     

    “A masseuse?” Gabe asked hopefully, massaging air with his fingers. “I give good back rubs..”

     

    “She only wants to be touched by women..”

     

    “I can be gentle..”

     

    “You have rough hands.”

     

    “That’s what lotions are for. Besides, with these rough babies, she’d get a massage AND have her dead skin exfoliated too. It’s like a loofah.”

     

    “Gross.” Tina made a face.

     

    “Does she have a job for me? Any job at all? I’m not picky. I can be her own personal sweat licker for all I care.”

     

    Tina shook her head, chuckling. “She doesn’t have room for you Gabe.”

     

    “Damn.” The guy hung his head.

     

    “Sorry.”

     

    After a minute, Gabe perked up again. “How about a male sex slave? You know, for variety..”

There are so many examples of your unique humor from Bette’s admission of her love for Tina to Tina’s drooling conversation with Bette concerning her breath. Awesome.
