    Shane and Carmen had gone next door to shower and change before heading back over to Bettes.  Shane had been acting very short with Carmen. 

     

    Shane what is going on?  I know you are very worried about Bette, but there seems to be more than that on your mind.  Carmen said.

     

    Carmen I have a lot on my mind right now.  I dont need you going off on me ok.  Shane said in an angry tone.

     

    Maybe I should go home then and give you some space.  Carmen said

     

    I think that is exactly what I need.  I will call you if I feel like seeing you.  Shane said.

     

    Shane!!!  Why are you all of a sudden pushing me away like this?  What has happened to make you act so mean to me?  Carmen asked as her eyes began to fill with tears.  Things have been so good between us for so long.  Why are you pushing me away now?

     

    I just need to be alone Carmen.  Is that so hard to understand?  I have almost lost Bette before Carmen.  I watched her die right before my eyes.  Is it OK with you if I am just a little bit freaked out by her stroke!!!  Do I have your permission to be upset and worried about her?  If not get the ***** out Carmen!!!  Shane said closing the bathroom door in Carmens face.

     

    Carmen just stood there in complete and total disbelief.  She turned and ran out of the house when she heard the shower water turn on.  For what ever reason Shane was not just pushing her away she shoved her away. 

     

    Whit was working at in Bette and Tinas weight room with her crutches when Alice burst into the room.  Alice gasped when she saw that Whit was standing and walking on her own.  Startled Whit started falling but Alice caught her. 

     

    Alice!!!!  What the *****!  Dont you ever knock?  Whit said pissed off that the reporter from ***** knew her secret now.  Alice so help me God if you open your big mouth and tell anyone about this I will string you up.  Whit said.

     

    Whit, what the ***** are you so mad about?  Isnt this great news!  Why are you hiding it from us?  Alice asked

    9. now dont take this the wrong way, i love your story. i have since the first chapter. i have one question though… do you like bette at all? i mean you just give here more and more sickness. its like you are still punishing her for hurting tina. please go easy on her?

    10. yeah i agree with some of the readers here – it does seem you have a ‘fondness’ of torturing the B&T family and the gang with all these sickness; melodramas etc. do you derive pleasure in making ppl suffer – dont you think the world is bad enough with all the sufferings that you must keep doing this. you reminded me of ano writer who also loves to inflict pain and torture throughout the entire story on B and it still going on it seems. come on there is always a rainbow at the end of the rain – other than that i like yout story still (for the time being until i see how far you go with these sufferings).

    11. I am so sad right now. How will she ever be able to hold and play with her children? I have a huge lump in my throat cause I’m trying not to cry!!! Evil I say!!! j/k (about the evil). Could you would you please make Bette the way she was before she had the stroke. I know it’s not realistic to all of a sudden have her make a full recovery but could you do it just once for all of us Bette and Tina (they will live happily ever after) fans???? :(

    14. I feel sorry for bette’s run of bad luck also, but she always has a way of bouncing back. keep up the writing. i love your story.
      sorry to hear of your bad luck with your arm. probably not the way to make the paper. would have been better if it said something about “Lesbian Fan-Fic Goddess” writes another great chapter. haha!! keep your chin up and your fingers on the keyboard OCD

    22. You could be a writer for the daytime soaps :-) which I love btw! .. Just got caught up and can’t believe all the drama that continues in the lives of these folks. Never a dull moment when I read your chapters. Great update. btw – saw the pic in the N&O also. Hope that eventually everything will work out for you and the rest of the folks that have been caught up in this mess.

    23. I love your story, but I must agree with soui, can Bette get a BREAK and not her leg. I know there must be drama, but why must it always be at Bette’s expense. PLEASE give the girl a break, and let someone else carry the drama. Hot danget! Just let Bette be healthy for a NICE change.
