    At this point Bette does appear to be paralyzed down her right side.  We cannot tell if this is going to be permanent or not.  Stacey said.

     

    Can I see her now please?  Tina asked 

     

    Not right now Tina, I ordered an MRI.  I just wanted to be on the safe side even though the CT came back showing some damage to her brain.  I wanted to  I just needed to make sure I did everything I could for her.  Stacey said

     

    Placing her arms around her wife, Whit held her tight as she could feel Staceys body shaking.    Kit, Carmen, Alice and Dana sat silent.  Shane held Tina rocking her softly in her arms as Tina closed her eyes.  Another hour went by before Dr. Berry came out to let them know Bette was in ICU now.  Tina and Kit followed Stacey back to see Bette. 

     

    How can this be happening?  We are so happy.  We have everything we could have ever dreamed of.  We have each other, our babies.  Weve been to ***** and back and now this.  Weve been here before so many times, Tina thought to herself.  Pushing the door open they entered.

     

    Seeing Bette lying there hooked up to the monitors once again was just too much for Tina to handle as her legs gave way.  Stacey and Kit helped her over to the chair beside Bettes bed.  Tina reached out for Bettes left hand. 

     

    Weve been here before.  Tina said. 

     

    What honey?  Kit Asked

     

    Weve been her so many times before, I said.  How much more?  How is this fair?  She survived so much to have something treatable harm her like this.  I just dont understand.  Tina said shaking her head in confusion. 

     

    I dont know either Tina, but Bette is a very strong willed woman.  I know she will pull through this just like all of the other times.  Kit said.

     

    I agree Kit.  Bette is very strong and she is such a fighter, Tina.  I know she will fight this until she wins.  She wont give up, I know she wont.  Stacey said.

     

    Stacey, what is this going to be like?  If she is paralyzed I mean.  Will it be like after the brain surgery?  Worse or better?  I just need to know what were facing Stacey?  Tina asked as she held tightly to Bettes hand.

    9. now dont take this the wrong way, i love your story. i have since the first chapter. i have one question though… do you like bette at all? i mean you just give here more and more sickness. its like you are still punishing her for hurting tina. please go easy on her?

    10. yeah i agree with some of the readers here – it does seem you have a ‘fondness’ of torturing the B&T family and the gang with all these sickness; melodramas etc. do you derive pleasure in making ppl suffer – dont you think the world is bad enough with all the sufferings that you must keep doing this. you reminded me of ano writer who also loves to inflict pain and torture throughout the entire story on B and it still going on it seems. come on there is always a rainbow at the end of the rain – other than that i like yout story still (for the time being until i see how far you go with these sufferings).

    11. I am so sad right now. How will she ever be able to hold and play with her children? I have a huge lump in my throat cause I’m trying not to cry!!! Evil I say!!! j/k (about the evil). Could you would you please make Bette the way she was before she had the stroke. I know it’s not realistic to all of a sudden have her make a full recovery but could you do it just once for all of us Bette and Tina (they will live happily ever after) fans???? :(

      sorry to hear of your bad luck with your arm. probably not the way to make the paper. would have been better if it said something about “Lesbian Fan-Fic Goddess” writes another great chapter. haha!! keep your chin up and your fingers on the keyboard OCD

    16. Man, I don’t know how much more of this I can take – just when I think everything is going to be ok you throw in another HIGH drama. Please post soon – need to know that Bette is going to be ok. Btw – this is an awesome story.

    22. You could be a writer for the daytime soaps :-) which I love btw! .. Just got caught up and can’t believe all the drama that continues in the lives of these folks. Never a dull moment when I read your chapters. Great update. btw – saw the pic in the N&O also. Hope that eventually everything will work out for you and the rest of the folks that have been caught up in this mess.

    23. I love your story, but I must agree with soui, can Bette get a BREAK and not her leg. I know there must be drama, but why must it always be at Bette’s expense. PLEASE give the girl a break, and let someone else carry the drama. Hot danget! Just let Bette be healthy for a NICE change.
