    Family Woman (Chapter 3)

When she heard some squealing and laughter, she was confused because of Bette’s strange state that entire day, and now she was intrigued. Very quietly, she approached the room, peaking around the corner with a smile.

Bette was playing with Angelica, pretending to be some kind of monster and roaring quietly as the little girl clapped with laughter.

“And him! Go get him, Mommy!” Angelica giggled, then climbed on top of Bette and squeezed her arms around her mother’s neck. “Yay! Giddy up!”

Bette had to laugh, choking it out before sitting up once more and pulling Angelica around to hold her. Together, she approached another pretend fort made of her comforter. It was becoming easier for her to act foolishly, as she felt deeply connected with this little girl, the more time she spent with her.

“What if we can never escape?” Bette asked, looking into the little girl’s wide, imaginative eyes. It was something too pessimistic for her to normally say to her child, but Bette wasn’t quite herself. Still, Angelica responded well.

With an adorable gesture, Angelica took Bette’s face in her little hands and reassured her mother. “Be brave, Mommy. Don’t be scared.”

Bette smiled and moved in closer, surprising her girl. “Ahhhh! She’s getting me! Not the hideously deformed dragon!” It was a strange phrase for a child, but even the oddity was fully accepted because of Bette’s attitude and the connection she had made with her supposed daughter. Playing with a child was turning out to be easier than she thought.

“No! Oh no!” Angelica squealed, running away onto her little bed.

Tina didn’t want to intrude on their time together, so she chuckled and made her way back to the master bedroom. Bette did seem a bit odd, but she was just glad that she had mended Angelica’s concerns. With a sigh, Tina took out a book and waited for Bette’s return.

When she jolted awake, Tina realized she had fallen asleep reading the book, and that Bette was still nowhere to be seen. She looked to the clock at her side that read 3:16, and furrowed her eyebrows. ‘What can she be doing this late? Surely she hasn’t kept Angelica up all this time.’ With exhaustion, she pulled herself out of bed and went to Angelica’s room. Nope, she wasn’t awake. She was even tucked in, which made Tina smile, sure that Angelica was alright after all.

    1. Mommy taught angie how to sweared lol. Too cute and too funny. Don’t worry I won’t tell the mrs. Biissexi even if she reads the comment. Oops! Thank you for the wonderful post bi. Yay!

    2. OMG…do not eat lunch and read…if you want to keep food in one’s mouth…I laughed hysterically!!! So dam cute! How clever of Angie to figure out “height.” Poor Bette…gone is her “Stiletto world.” I heart this story!!! PS. LMAO -yeap, your profs would have a heart attack at the NC-17’s. I do want you to graduate. :)

    3. I think Tina needs to give Bette some special tutoring in how to be a wife and mother to get up to speed. Ahem…wifely skills… Biisexi’s style of course.

    4. I’ve never seen “family man”. But your story is wonderful and very funny. I’m not a parent but I am an aunt and have gotten myself in trouble more than a few times with the words I’ve chosen to use in front of my precious little niece. I look forward to more of your posts, but studies first. Good luck. Yes, I work in a school setting.

    5. omg!…I love, loved this story!…Angie is so adorable!…And Bette?..What is she thinking when she said thatto Angie LOL! Now she’s got some explaining to do to Tina hehehe!…

    6. Cute, cute, cute! Can’t wait to Tina’s reaction on Bette for Angie’s newly acquired vocabulary. And I hope that Tibette’s NC-17 is coming up next. *wipes drool* Ha.

    7. It was truly funny chapter! I near fall out my chair at work! I know your story already ended by now, I just can’t keep my comments to the final chapter. Thanks for your return.

    8. Another brilliantly funny chapter – thank you! I love Bette with Angelica – that kid is smart as well as cute! (Thanks for the shoutout. I’m honoured I made you spit out your milk – and that’s a sentence you don’t say every day!)

    9. Hi Biissexi, Great update as you proved that kids get you into so much trouble. It was adorable to have Bette and Tina cuddling each other at the unwashed dinner plates as these simple moments are what makes life worth living. Then Bette was follish in answering Angelica question truthfully. Tina was tense and mad however Bette managed to dig herself out of this hole by making amends with Angie. It is so cute reading how childish Bette can be and how much she is starting to love this child. Bette retreated to the couch which intrigued Tina. I do hope this pair reunite their spark and have a very eventful evening and night. Perhaps Angie could be at Auntie Kit’s for a sleepover. Just brilliant and cheering me up no end. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
