“I know I just want everything to be perfect. Ya know.”
“Bette today your family becomes official that in it’s self is perfection… look I’m getting off the phone I will see you this afternoon. I love you baby girl.”
“I love you to Kit”
Bette threw her phone down on the bed and continued fumbling through her clothes trying to find something to wear. Tina walked into their room and shook her head at the piles of clothes everywhere.
“Babe” Tina tried to get Bette’s attention hoping she would notice her standing there with a box in her hands.
“T.. I’ve got to find something to wear” she heard from their closet as another blazer came flying out.
“Bette we have five hours before we have to be there… besides I think I can help.”
“Five hours.. we only have five hours.. T we will never make it.”
“Bette honey I love you but you are being crazy… can you just come out here for a minute.”
“T…” Bette came out to find Tina standing in their bedroom with a box in her hands and a loving smile on her face.
“I got you a little something to wear today. I knew you would want to look your best.” Bette opened the box to find a beautiful tailored gray suite, a maternity version of one of her favorite suits.
“I know the white one is your favorite babe, but I didn’t know how you would feel in all white being pregnant.”
“T I love it. Thank you!” Bette placed a kiss on Tina’s soft lips.
“So you think you can relax a little for me?”
“I’m sorry T… I know I’ve been crazy this morning.”
“It’s Ok babe… I know you want everything to be perfect.”
“I do”
“Ok well then haw about you settle down a little and we will get the kids through their baths.”
“Alright… but first” Bette grabbed a hold of Tina and planted a searing kiss on her unsuspecting lips. Once they broke for air Tina could barely get her words out.
“What was that for?”

I agree with the readers above me, this is going way too smoothly. Either Bette’s water breaks or jodi shows up at the court hearing and throws a shoe in the works. Can hardly wait for the next chapter. PPS
