“As much as I love my work… as much as it defines me, as you call it… It didn’t help me when I lost you. The work doesn’t love me or hold me or listen to me… and those are the things that really matter, Tina. You did that for me… like you are doing right now… Things have to change Tina… cause I’m not letting work come between us again.”
“What do you mean?”
“I think I’m going to use this trip to think about making some changes… maybe it’s time to look for something else to do… something less demanding – time wise at least.”
“Ok?”
“I should have made other choices back when we were together…. Not a day goes by when I don’t regret that…”
“That’s water under the bridge, babe… I’m just happy, you’re ready to talk about this now…” Tina said, “and please don’t make any rash decisions just to accommodate me… Take your time, Bette.”
“I think I’m ready…”
“Can I touch your breasts now?” Tina giggled.
Bette laughed. She moved her hands to give Tina easy access. “Go right ahead…”
“I think I’m gonna go under the shirt this time….” Tina smiled against Bette’s cheek.
She slipped her hands under the front of Bette’s shirt. She felt her tight abs flinch under her touch. Ever so slowly she moved upwards, letting her nails scrape over the soft skin, caressing Bette’s abdomen and ribs. She could feel Bette heart beating under her left hand. Tina let out a sound of pleasure when her hands cupped the soft swell of Bette’s breasts. Bette’s body jerked when Tina’s thumbs connected with her nipples. Tina let her lips rest against the pulse point on Bette’s neck. She could feel her pulse quicken as she sucked and nibbled on the soft flesh.
“Oh my God, T….” Bette moaned.
Tina let her tongue tease the skin just below Bette’s earlobe. “I’ve longed for the your taste… nothing comes close to this perfection…” Tina whispered.
“….fuck….” Bette groaned.
“Well… not tonight… but soon, I imagine….” Tina smiled into the crook of Bette’s neck.
“Soon? That sounds awfully promising…. can I get a timeframe on that?” Bette giggled
“Just hurry home from London…. then we’ll talk.”
“Talk?”
“Talk… as in making love…” Tina smiled
“Oh, that kind of “talk”…. maybe I should cut this trip short…”
“See? Now you’re talking…” Tina laughed out loud.

Unless they make a vacation of it its only 4days and Bette will be working like a maniac anyway. Besides, this could be valuable time for Bette to make some decisions and for them to flirt like crazy as absence makes the heart grow fonder!

What a pleasant surprise to see that you had posted another chapter. Now that’s what I call dedication to your readers—having your g/f home and still finding time to give us another chapter. This is the way it should be—the two of them talking and laughing and teasing each other. If you want something bad enough the work it will take to achieve it will be well worth it. I’m surprised Bette didn’t just come right out and ask Tina to go to London with her. Maybe they need a few days apart so Bette can figure out what she wants to do regarding her career. I’m sure the time is going to drag for them both, the anticipation will be excruciating for them. Nice update, anker. Cheers!
