It was tentative at first. Bette felt the softness of Tina’s lips against her and a shiver went down her spine. Tina’s tongue traced her lower lip begging for entrance. The taste that was unmistakably Tina made her respond in kind, letting her tongue slip into the warm wet haven of Tina’s mouth.
Tina felt Bette’s hand in her hair pulling her closer, deepening the kiss. Neither of them could help the moans of pleasure that escaped them. From their first kiss to this moment, none of them had experienced anything that went beyond the feelings rushing through their bodies. Both of them had kissed other people and they both knew that nothing compared to the way they connected when their bodies united.
Tina broke the kiss, panting heavily. Neither of them spoke. They just gazed at each other in awe of what was happening.
They kissed forever, standing in the moonlight by the poolside at what used to be their home. The only sound was their soft moans and an occasional request for more.
Finally, Bette cupped Tina’s face, putting a little distance between them.
“When I left The Planet yesterday you were angry with me… I want nothing more than to get carried away kissing you… but Tina I have to know what you are mad about…”
“Come sit down with me….” Tina smiled and led Bette towards the deck chairs.
Tina sat down and encouraged Bette to sit in front of her. Tina slipped her hands around Bette’s stomach.
“Lean back and relax, baby…” Tina whispered in Bette’s ear, “I told before, I wont break from the weight…”
“Will you touch my breast if I do…? Bette giggled at the reference to that day so many years ago.
“I might…” Tina chuckled. Bette leant back and let out a breath of air.
“Now tell me what upset you…” Bette whispered.
“I overreacted…. the news of your upcoming trip to London just reminded me of all those times when you went away…. I know your work is incredibly important to you… that it defines you in many ways… and I love that. I’ve always loved that determined, driven side of you – it’s a major turn on. But it also cost us a lot. It kept us apart… sometimes for weeks at a time. And when you went away on business, I was never asked what I thought… It was never an option to say no, to stay at home. Often times it felt like I was the last to know…. like what I needed wasn’t important. At least not important enough for you to ask me to come along or to stay at home just once in a while…. I just had sort of a deja-vu experience at The Planet yesterday….” Tina explained, “I’m over it. I’ll be fine….”
Bette rested her hands on top of Tina’s. “Hold me tighter…” she urged Tina.

whoa…wow…brilliant…great to wake up to your story…the dialogue…the re-building of the relationship…maybe B can invite T to go so they don’t have to delay ‘the talk’??? yeah, I’m just impatient for them to get it on!!! Love your writing…thanks for this and no pressure (lol) but PPS
Unless they make a vacation of it its only 4days and Bette will be working like a maniac anyway. Besides, this could be valuable time for Bette to make some decisions and for them to flirt like crazy as absence makes the heart grow fonder!

What a pleasant surprise to see that you had posted another chapter. Now that’s what I call dedication to your readers—having your g/f home and still finding time to give us another chapter. This is the way it should be—the two of them talking and laughing and teasing each other. If you want something bad enough the work it will take to achieve it will be well worth it. I’m surprised Bette didn’t just come right out and ask Tina to go to London with her. Maybe they need a few days apart so Bette can figure out what she wants to do regarding her career. I’m sure the time is going to drag for them both, the anticipation will be excruciating for them. Nice update, anker. Cheers!

This was a wonderful chapter. I got scared when Tina didn’t return those calls. I am glad they sat down and actually talked. Keep them talking and loving each other. Ohhhh be still my Tibette heart.
