“You sound sooooo G-Man!” laughed Carmen as Lara wrapped her arms around her, nuzzling her neck.
“We’re in dyke land,” groaned Spencer throwing up her hands in dismay.
“Remember who you are talking too,” laughed Sydney her dark blue eyes washing over the course. “Last time I looked, one of our best friends was a ‘dyke’, easy on the bashing there, Spence. We’ve got a joust, we’ve got a whole lotta physical activity ahead of us.”
“Who’s kid is she?” asked Lara to Riley who grinned wickedly, eyes flashing in mischief.
“Oh, Tegan is Amy Astin’s kiddie, and Sydney is Shelby’s,” said Riley in her fast paced tone. “All friends, of course, of my mom’s and Jo’s, you should try figuring out who is who’s god parent? It’s like a game of cat’s cradle, all criss crossed and shit.”
“Ahhh, Amy…,” said Alice stuffing her hands into her pockets keeping mum about who Amy Astin was sleeping with.
“Where is Tina?” asked Rosita conversationally looking over the crowd with a careful eye.

“I so hate being late,” grumbled Tina as she and Amy jogged through the crowd. Amy didn’t care, late, early, it was all the same to her.
“Did you lump me into your group too?” asked Amy as she saw Emma in the crowd, waving and Emma waved back, a thoughtful look on her face as she saw who Amy was with, thinking Amy was up to something, she always was.
“Umm…, yeah?” said Tina sheepishly. “I shouldn’t have?”
“No, that’s fine,” grinned Amy thinking that Jo was going to be so surprised. Would she explode in a jealous rage? Amy was certainly hopeful to get a glimmer of hope that Jo still cared.
“Bette!” called out Tina as she saw Bette towering over most of their group of friends.
A she called out, Jo turned, seeing Amy and tugging the sunglasses off her face, “What the…?” began Jo but the edge of her mind, she heard Bette rattling off a string of reasons why she hadn’t told Jo about Amy and Tina seemingly becoming a couple. “You didn’t tell me, why didn’t you tell me? You… you are so going to get punished tonight,” whispered Jo to Bette. “You need to tell me these things,” muttered Jo trying to compose herself.

I know group scenes are hard to write but you do them so well! I loved the ending. Thnnks.
I continue to be amazed at your ability to seamlessly interweave so many storylines and keep them all so engaging. Knowing from your other stories that you do not hesitate to bump off main characters, I envisioned heartbreak ahead when you paired Bette with Jo. I decided I had nothing to worry about since its hard to kill a vampire. Then you go and make Jo human. sigh. Every time I open a new chapter, I am worried about what’s gonna happen. Loved this chapter with all of the characters appearing. Oh, and Tina deserves a love interest.
hmm. i like this chapter, it’s amazing how you have so many characters in this story though, and everyone likes them. Awesome, i love Riley and Spencer, hint hint

I *knew* Gabe would want something. Scumbag. Welp, Shane’s going to have to do some adjusting, and fast. The rest of the chapter was fantastic, I loved the games, and Alice and her strategy with the underwear, ha! Amy’s going to have to get over Jo, cos it looks like she’s stickin, no matter what Amy pulls. Quin and Tina, I think you gave us a bit more than a glimmer there… Great chapter, Janet, thanks.
Trying to bring the whole group together and in harmony was a feat that you did do very well. Quin and Tina I can see that better than she and Amy. Alice is still the class clown. I loved the longer chapter. How can anyone walk off and leave a child??? Okay,I,m going in the Hospital April 25 for a complete shoulder replacement. Don’t mop the F**king floor bare foot. this has been going on since 8 of Aug 06 . Can’t do much with one arm in a sling and your right arm at that. I still do all the work but I do get tired. So if I pass my Phyical.it a go. So I’ll be able to read but the Dr said in about a year I would be 95% as good as new. Hell at my age just getting out of bed is good. Love this Love Sam and Shane. You take care and write a lot. get me a book out. I can alway read. Take care and rest. thanks bvh
Don’t know why I con’t to be amazed by the amt. of characters you have interacting w/ one another in a post like this, but I am. The games were funny. Jo & Bette making up was sweet. Loved all the flirtation & hook ups w/ the couples, teens & adults. I guess cause Sam has so much it means so little when Gabe runs off w/ just a car. Def. know you’re a busy lady but glad to know you’re still working on the other fics. Loved it, JM.
