“Quin’s hot, stop it, sexy,” smiled Alice thinking they made a better couple than Amy and Tina. The blonde former senator, who was bidding for an independent slot on the 2008 ballet, gave Alice pause for thought.
Quin moved closer, pressing her hips to Tina’s, who was falling into the beat of the song, reaching up with her left hand, tugging on the hair tie that kept Quin’s hair tied up tightly, letting the long mane of blonde hair cascade down onto her shoulders. Tina ran her hands through it, shaking it out, meeting Quin’s heated gaze, swallowing back the wanton thought that exploded into her mind.
Quin’s hand now on the small of Tina’s back, a small pocket of space had opened up around them, Tina pushed up on her toes wanting to taste Quin’s lips for just a second, but before she could, Sydney tackled Quin playfully, “Come on!” said the usually quiet girl. Torn from Tina, Quin gave a hurt look, but went with the girl, who was trailed by Spencer and Maddie, Quin’s former band member.
“Where are we going?” asked Quin roughly.
“These two said they can sing, or at least, this one does,” she said pointing to Spencer who grimaced, having been coerced into this by Tegan, Abby and Riley.
“She’s making me,” huffed Spencer, winking at Sydney who gave her a hurt look.
“You said you would, you came downstairs all filled with energy and crap, you are such a brat, Spencer,” laughed Sydney as they mounted the staging area. The band that had been playing greeted them, Spencer looking out onto the floor, pale as a ghost.
“Just don’t think of anyone naked,” instructed Quin to Spencer, who laughed at that, a bright smile that didn’t appear often.
“Great, only one I can think of naked is Riley,” snorted the girl which only made Quin laugh.
Stepping up to the mic, waving for Carmen to cut the dance music, “Greeting to all the lovely people below,” said Quin into the mic, causing cat calls and hoots of delight. “We’ve got two young ladies here who are going to perform a song, Real Wild One… nice Spencer, an ode I’m sure,” said Quin.

I know group scenes are hard to write but you do them so well! I loved the ending. Thnnks.
I continue to be amazed at your ability to seamlessly interweave so many storylines and keep them all so engaging. Knowing from your other stories that you do not hesitate to bump off main characters, I envisioned heartbreak ahead when you paired Bette with Jo. I decided I had nothing to worry about since its hard to kill a vampire. Then you go and make Jo human. sigh. Every time I open a new chapter, I am worried about what’s gonna happen. Loved this chapter with all of the characters appearing. Oh, and Tina deserves a love interest.
hmm. i like this chapter, it’s amazing how you have so many characters in this story though, and everyone likes them. Awesome, i love Riley and Spencer, hint hint

I *knew* Gabe would want something. Scumbag. Welp, Shane’s going to have to do some adjusting, and fast. The rest of the chapter was fantastic, I loved the games, and Alice and her strategy with the underwear, ha! Amy’s going to have to get over Jo, cos it looks like she’s stickin, no matter what Amy pulls. Quin and Tina, I think you gave us a bit more than a glimmer there… Great chapter, Janet, thanks.
Trying to bring the whole group together and in harmony was a feat that you did do very well. Quin and Tina I can see that better than she and Amy. Alice is still the class clown. I loved the longer chapter. How can anyone walk off and leave a child??? Okay,I,m going in the Hospital April 25 for a complete shoulder replacement. Don’t mop the F**king floor bare foot. this has been going on since 8 of Aug 06 . Can’t do much with one arm in a sling and your right arm at that. I still do all the work but I do get tired. So if I pass my Phyical.it a go. So I’ll be able to read but the Dr said in about a year I would be 95% as good as new. Hell at my age just getting out of bed is good. Love this Love Sam and Shane. You take care and write a lot. get me a book out. I can alway read. Take care and rest. thanks bvh
Don’t know why I con’t to be amazed by the amt. of characters you have interacting w/ one another in a post like this, but I am. The games were funny. Jo & Bette making up was sweet. Loved all the flirtation & hook ups w/ the couples, teens & adults. I guess cause Sam has so much it means so little when Gabe runs off w/ just a car. Def. know you’re a busy lady but glad to know you’re still working on the other fics. Loved it, JM.
