    A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 45

    Chapter 45

“Ah, don’t answer it.” Bette pleads.

“I have to, I told Jessie to call me if she needed me.” Tina says and flip open her phone.

    “Hello?” Tina says.

“Tina, I’m sorry to bother you but” Jessie says.

“You’re not bothering me Jessie, what’s wrong? Are you okay?” Tina asks as she sits up straight in her bed.

“The hotel reception guy called here and asked for you.” Jessie says.

“Oh, did he say what he wanted?” Tina asks.

“No, just that there was a message for you down in the lobby.” Jessie says.

“Okay, thanks. Are you okay, feeling any better?” Tina asks.

“Yeah, a little better. Thanks for staying with me earlier.” Jessie says.

“You’re welcome. I’ll come down soon.” Tina says.

    They hang up.

    “Is something wrong?” Bette asks.

“I don’t know. There’s a message for me down in the lobby.” Tina says a little worried of what it might be.

“Well, go down and find out.” Bette says sitting up beside Tina.

“Yeah, will you come with me?” Tina says. She has a bad feeling, she don’t know why, but she does. They get down to the lobby and walks over to the reception.

“Hi, how can I help you?” The reception guy asks Tina and Bette.

“You called my room and said you have a message for me?” Tina says.

“Your name is?” The guy asks.

    “Tina Kennard.” Tina replies.

They guy walks back to the reception office and retrieve the message.

    He walks back the note.

“Here you go, Ms. Kennard.” He says and hand her the note.

Tina looks at him with a questioning look. She takes the note. She looks at Bette, Bette move her hand up to Tina’s shoulder stroking it lovingly. Tina looks down on the note. ‘Call Chris, right away, something’s happened.’ The note says.

“Baby, what does it say?” Bette asks as she notices to look on Tina’s face and the tears. Tina looks up at Bette.

“I have to call Chris, something has happened.” Tina says.

Bette puts her arms around her lover’s shoulders.

“Let’s go up and call him.” Bette says.

They get in the elevator up to the 5th floor and to their room.

Tina picks up the phone and calls Chris.

    1. I’m happy that Tina and her mom had a chance to talk before her mother’s death. Sad chapter, Luaren. Seeing her father should cause some drama.

    2. OH shit.. now that sucks.. but at least she saw her mom… and now her dad… oh god i have a feeling bette should have gone with her.. please continue

    3. Wow. I was so happy to see you posted and then my joy turned to sorrow…but in a good way! Your story moved me to sorrow, so that’s good, right? Sigh. Poor Tina.

    4. oh my how sad…by al least Tina had the chance to forgive her mom before she died now i hope her father do the same thing life is too short if you have to say sorry for someone or make it up a mistake do it before is to late…i think Bette will not be so well in her game without Tina and i love that Bette she have a heart and really care about Tina ok ..2 in one day are you trying to spoil us?..lol..amazing chapter as always :o)

    5. Aaaawww! I was hoping that Tina’s mom would be in attendance at their wedding. But, I guess that’s why we shouldn’t let little things get in the way of what’s important, and that’s family! Glad they at least had some time to reconcile before this permanent separation. (NO, chance of a soap opera ‘reappearance’? Sorry, just very sad that Tina had to loose her mom. Guess this will make Jessie rethink getting together with her own mom. Hope nothing inappropriate is happening with the foster father, either. Just hate to think of any kid going thru that kind of experience. She’s had it rough enough as it is.
