“Yeah, he did, he told me so last year. But he don’t anymore. After he became a father, he has done a lot of thinking. And one of them is, what if Jason is *****, would he turn his back on his son? He says he wouldn’t do that. No matter what.” Sarah says.
“Where is he now?” Tina asks.
“He still lives in
Tina sits in silence for a little while.
“Tina Mom saw you on TV today. They were watching the tournament.” Sarah says.
Tina looks up, waiting for the next thing Sarah would say. But it didn’t come.
“Did she say anything?” Tina asks softly.
“Yeah, she did. She said you looked different. And you do, you’ve changed so much. I remember you as that tomboy with short hair and no makeup. You also had a little darker hair.” Sarah says and smiles.
“Yeah, it was time for a change.” Tina smiles. Bette looks at Tina and smiles.
“You were a tomboy? I find that hard to believe.” Bette says and let out a little laugh.
“It’s true.” Tina says.
“I saw you in that family photo, but you didn’t look like a tomboy there.” Bette says.
“Mom made me dress up and put on some makeup.” Tina replies looking down on her and Bette’s hand. “I used to hate dresses and skirts. I only wore baggy jeans and sweatshirts or t-shirts. I was a mess.” Tina says and looks at Bette and smiles.
“Tina, you look beautiful now I wish I could undo everything, but I can’t. I’ve been stupid. Now mom and dad can’t control me any longer. I told them that I would contact you. Dad of course told my not to, but I don’t care. I’m not letting him tell me what do anymore.” Sarah says looking at Tina and gives her a vague smile.
“I’ve missed you so much Sarah.” Tina finally says.
“I’ve missed you too. You weren’t there when I needed you. To get advice about boys and stuff. Big sister stuff you know.” Sarah says and smiles.
“Well, I don’t know if I could’ve given you advice about boys.” Tina says and smiles back.

ok the brother is also ready to meet with her… another great chapter… now i have a feeling mom will come into the picture and want to get to know her daughter again and i hope she does… so please continue

Another great chapter. I really hope Tina’ll meet her brother and soon her mother. But about her fathier, actually it seems impossible to imagine it. And Bette is really the best. I love this B&T. Thank you

Nice I love the golf it would be fun to hear Bette’s thoughts as she plays her rounds. Tina getting with her family is so heartwarming thanks for beinging us the first stage now maybe she will get with her brother.

Great posts, sorry, couldn’t break after ch. 28, to comment. But, just loving that Tina and her siblings seem to be connecting again. I just love when family reunions are positive and happy, especially after such a long period of no communication. Keeping my fingers crossed for the older generation, as well.

Great chapter, it is good to see Tina and Sarah reconnecting. Was that a little twing of jealousy that Tina had when Bette was talking to the student. I would love to see how Tina handles other women being attracted to Bette. I am sure that Bette will have to face the little green eyed monster if she ever hangs out at any of the clubs with Tina and her friends.
I still miss “In Sickness and In Health”. Will we ever see it again?
