Where are mom and Noah? Julia asks.
In the bathroom. Tina says and smiles.
Mommy, I got ice cream today too.
You did, you are being spoiled you know. Tina says and kisses him on his forehead.
We brought toys. Can I play? Danny asks.
You did? Sure. Tina says and lower him down on the floor. He runs over to Julia and grabs the bag out of her hand.
He wanted to bring some toys for Noah, so we did. Jessie says.
Thank you. We planned on bringing some this week. We just wanted to get settled in first.
So, whats happening today? Julia asks.
Just waiting. We get the bone marrow test results back this afternoon. Until then were just gonna get to know the place. Tina replies and looks over at Danny, who is already seated on the floor playing.
So he starts treatment tomorrow? Jessie asks.
Yeah. Tina replies.
Bette enters with Noah on her arm.
Oh, hey guys. Bette says a little surprised.
Hey. Jessie and Julia says.
What are you doing here? Bette asks and gives them a smile.
Well, Danny here, wanted to bring some toys for Noah. So we took a drive down here. Jessie replies.
Danny stands and walks over to Bette and Noah.
Hey, sweetie. Bette says and ruffles his hair.
I got him toys, so he can play. Danny says and smiles.
That was very nice of you. Bette says and smiles back. Tina, what do you say we go down to the cafeteria and get something to eat? Bette suggests. Im a little hungry. She adds.
Okay, Im a little hungry too. Join us? She says to Julia and Jessie.
Sure. They replies.
Okay, lets go. Bette says. She give Noah to Tina and then takes Dannys hand.
They walks out of the room, close the door and tells the nurse where they are.
Can I get another ice cream? Danny asks.
I dont think so sweetie. You can get real food. Tina says and looks down on him. Noah is resting his head on Tinas shoulder, playing with her hair.
They reach the cafeteria and finds a table. Bette takes a seat and Tina give Noah to her.
What do you want babe? Tina asks.

Chemo is hell on adult,a child,mKE YOU WANT TO CRY. He will get better,I dont believe that Bette and Tina could make it with out him,also Danny thanks

I know that it will get worse before it gets better, but I can already feel the pain. This family has already been through so much and now they are fighting for Noah’s life. Plus, on top of this Bette will have her baby girl soon. It was nice to see Bette and Julia bonding even more. Although you could tell that it hurt Julia to know that her mother does not remember much of her pregnancy with Julia. I still wonder when will Julia’s father will re-appear. He does not even know that Bette was ever pregnant with Julia. Hope school does not get you down to much.
been reading chap 171-179 wow you sure pack their lives with a lot of problems that they have to get thro–hope bettes’ back ache is only from carrying the baby and not more for her and tina have to get thro–the saying that god never gives more than what you can handly is true but they have had more than their share–great story been with you from the beginning–i had an uncle named noah he lived until his 80’s hope little noah will–get some rest too can’t have our author getting sick

Why do i feel that Noah will need His bro Danny to get better?? poor kid..at least he is lucky to have a twin. I hope nothing happens to Bette and the baby..its not a healthy place for a pregnant woman to stay 24/7 and i wonder if they will Tell their families and friends about Noah. Post soon!
Great chapter and you are doing this so beautifully. Please let him get better, they have had so much pain in their lives and finally when it looked like everything would be okay, bam, the cancer w/Noah.They don’t need this and neither does baby Noah, nor Bette and the fetus. Oh, poor little Noah. He’s so young and it’s so sad when a child has such a dreadful disease. Bette and Tina will be there for him…I’m surprised Bette hasn’t gone into premature labor with all of the stress. Lauren…thank you for taking the time to update.

This is so sad, poor little Noah and poor B&T :o(( I’m glad that Bette and Julia had a moment together, they don’t have so many and they don’t seem so affectionate, I would like that.
