    Daughter of a Criminal

Or maybe they weren’t meant to be friends at all. They couldn’t be friends because ever since that very first interaction, Bette had fell for the blonde, hard and fast. And the feeling even grew stronger whenever Tina looked at her with those amazingly stunning eyes, gave her a little smile, or an attempt at saying hello, though all of which would get interfered by another. Yet that didn’t even bother her because Tina never avoided her, never on purpose. In fact, sometimes she liked to think that the girl wanted to be around her.

Then again, the heavy thought struck her. She didn’t know how much the other students had told Tina about her, and she couldn’t rally the strength to defend herself because most of it was true, but she always wanted to believe that Tina didn’t see her as everybody else did. Tina saw her more than what people said she was. And it gave her the hope that got her through all the lonely times and hardship in school.

Tina walked out of the classroom, feeling the heat of a particular line of sight as she went, and knowing exactly who that was. She had been so scared when Stella told her about what Bette’s father did, and she tried to remain distant. People around her all warned her that this girl came from something bad, something so coldblooded and evil that nothing could save her, a girl doomed to a path nobody dared to speak of.

“Look at her eyes, so cold and merciless. I bet she kills little animals in her backyard.”

“If only she has a backyard.”

    “Haha word!”

Some of the snickers went on like that.

However, after several times bumping into each other, Tina saw someone different. Bette would give her that shy and adorable smile with those big doe eyes softly paying attention, and Tina had come to like the girl. She wanted to befriend her, she wanted to hang out with her, on some confusing occasions, she even wondered how it would be like to kiss her.

But she never brought herself to do any of that. She wasn’t brave enough for all the pointing and whispering. A relationship with a girl, with Bette, was something their town wouldn’t tolerate. Her family would never accept it, and she needed them to help pay for college. Selfish, she knew she was, but it was something that she could not control. After all, she was only a high school girl.

    1. Author:

Shout outs to my ladies! And an enormous ‘happy birthday’ to TN1! We all love you and wish you all the best next year! And Happy New Years to everyone.

Seriously… I suffer from stage four cancerous procrastination. When I can’t continue with what I’m supposed to do, I do something else to distract myself…

Again, *hiding my face in my palms and running away in shame*

How do you like this story? TBC or no?

      • To be truthful, I don’t know!

It seems so sad but intriguing, so intriguing!

Tina looking after Jodi! Can I handle that?

Can I forgive this procrastination? Already had a 1 off Writer’s block when we are just looking for a Lucky one!

How quickly TBC? So many questions!

Happy New Year! Balls in your Court!

      • Aww shucks thanks Robyn, gosh I love you *ok stalker moment* lol..now thank you so much!

        The story comments…
Well let me say that I lovvee it and so happy to be seeing your name posting on here again, Writer’s block is a disease that we can’t afford for you to have my darling that would be excrucaiating. This is absolutely interesting, so excited to see where you taking this,,and if its anything life Round and Round, or The Lucky One, I know it would be better, you are so talent and I’m one of your number 1 fans, so gives us another chapter of this great story soon, don’t block up on us! ;-) lol

    2. Ok.. So I was thinking just because you introduced Candace in the lucky one it doesn’t mean Bette has to cheat with her… You could introduce Jodi and they could hookup or Helena, Lara or even Moira sense she’s not max yet…

I’m late to that story but I would hate for Bette and Tina to be ruined by the cheating factor.. So maybe you can go in a different direction and make Candace not an issue.. I’m just throwing ideas out there to help you get back on track…

And I’m not sure yet about this one although I loved Round and Round… You know what I’m talking about…

    3. Intriguing for sure! I hope Bette is not a tranny – that would just be too weird – not that I have anything against tranny’s, just can’t go there with Bette.

    4. Very good beginning, i am hooked.

I hope that Bette is a CIA or FBI agent and not a criminal.

My heart bleeded for her, her youth must have been terrible.

      Please continue.

    5. My heart is about to start hitting the Thousand !!
