“Ky can you get that, I have to put the rest of the ornaments up.”  Ashley asked rifling through some of the items they had bought as the doorbell rang.

“Sure.”  Kyla had actually thoroughly enjoyed her day with Ashley.  From getting Lenny to decorating, it actually felt like Christmas in the Davies home for once!  With a smile tracing her lips she pulled the door open.

“Oh Hey Spencer!  She’s in the living room.”  Kyla stepped aside letting the young blonde through.

Spencer’s eyes scanned the area quietly.  “Since when do you guys decorate?”  She asked slipping into the living room followed closely by Kyla.

“Since now!  How does it look?”  Ashley’s hands rose up from her sides.

“Beautiful.”  Spencer pressed her lips against Ashley’s for a moment then pulled back.  “Absolutely beautiful.”  Kyla frowned and began making her way up to her bedroom.  This mushy girlfriend stuff was making her sick to her stomach; the only thing she wanted at this very moment was Kasey or a dark room with a comfy bed.

“Whoa!  Wait a second Ky.  Don’t forget the bonfire tonight.  Be ready by seven!”  Ashley yelled after the girl who solemnly shut the door behind her.

“I can’t believe you bought the ugliest tree on the lot!”  Spencer giggled.  Lenny was in corner dressed from head to toe in Christmas decorations.  His frail branches were weighted down thanks to dozens of ornaments and tinsel.

“Psh, everyone deserves to be in a happy home on Christmas.”  Ashley stuck her tongue out.

“Kegs?  You didn’t tell me there would be kegs!”  Kasey eyeballed the group of teens that had gathered in the yard.  Just as she was about to break away from Aiden he reached out and held her back.

“Whoa, easy there tiger.  No drinking for you tonight.”  Madison’s brow scrunched up in confusion.  “Why can’t she drink?”

“Yea, why can’t I drink!?”  Kasey shrugged his hand off and tried to scurry away yet again.  Aiden reached out for a second time and pulled her back.

“Because you have some listening to do tonight.”  He spun Kasey around in direction of Ashley, Spencer, and Kyla who had just arrived.
