Just as they entered, a door which resided across from them opened and Paula stepped out, still talking to a woman with brown hair and brown eyes who looked to be in her late 30s. However, the conversation stopped when icy blue eyes landed on the pair and where their hands remained together. Spencer squeezed Ashley’s hand hard but felt no resistance. Her nerves were on rapid fire and her mind was racing to nowhere in particular.
“I’m guessing you’re Spencer?” Dr. Erickson speculated with a warm smile.
The blonde nodded, not quite ready to let go of Ashley and venture into the unknown territory.
“And you must be Ashley.” Her smile never wavered or broke. A good sign.
“Yeah.”
“Well come on in Spencer. Your mother and Ashley can have a seat while they wait.”
One more reassuring squeeze and she was walking into the office, leaving behind her mother and her girlfriend to fight over what remained of her as she purged her emotions to a medically trained professional.
“What the hell is your problem?” Ashley seethed as she turned to face the current cause of despair in Spencer’s life.
Paula sat calmly on one of the sofas, reading through a Cosmopolitan while blatantly ignoring the angry teen.
She managed to capture a glimpse of the cover and chuckled sarcastically. “101 Sex tips huh? Running out of ways to please Dr. Ben?”
“How dare you, you insolent little brat!”
“Well there’s a reaction! Why would you do this to her?!” She nearly yelled, gesturing wildly towards the door where Spencer was currently pouring her heart out in.
“I could ask you the same thing! You walk into her life, force your… disgusting habits on her and I’m supposed to accept it?”
“First of all, I didn’t force anything on anyone. Spencer is her own person and she can make her decision. Second of all, being in love isn’t a habit and it isn’t disgusting. Third of all, I don’t care if you accept it or not! I care about Spencer and the fact that you’re being such a bitch to her while she’s obviously not ready to take your truckload of crap.”
“You watch your mouth…”
“Or what? Are you gonna slap me again because I swear to my heathen Gods that I will knock you out this time around.”
“This is ridiculous! You are not going to hurt my daughter and you are not going to tear apart my family.”
“Of course I won’t. That’s your job.”
Just then, the door to Dr. Erickson’s office swung open and a very displeased looking doctor stepped out before shutting the door behind her. “I don’t know what’s going on out here but it better stop right now before I call security on the both of you.”
“What?! That is my daughter in there and I’m not going anywhere!” Paula shouted at her.
“I’m not leaving Spencer.” Ashley replied.
“Well either one of you or both of you go because Spencer is extremely upset right now and I’m not going to have a brawl take place in my office.”
Ashley and Paula looked at each other, staring invisible daggers into each other, daring the other to relent and back down. This took place for several moments before the older woman narrowed her eyes and gathered her things. “Fine. But you better bring Spencer back home right after this appointment so help me God.” she spat out.
“I’ll take her wherever she wants to go whether it’s home or Disneyland.”
Purse in hand, Paula stormed past Ashley, knocking her in the shoulder in the process before she left through the door and slammed it shut behind her.
“Fuckin bitch.” she muttered under her breath.
Dr. Erickson heaved a great sigh before focusing her attentions back on Ashley. “Are you ok?”
“Yeah I’m good.”
“Well have a seat. We should be done in an hour or so.”
The brunette gave the doctor a thumbs up which got a chuckle out of the older woman. Her feet carried her to the sofa where she plopped down and grabbed a Town and Country magazine with Catherine Zeta-Jones on the cover. ‘Well at least it won’t be too boring.’

that is comedy how paula and ash are like fightin in the waiting room..haha yea i cant wait to see wut happens wit dano and madison…yea well i just want spencer to find out about the whole thing already…skinny…the gand thingy…the rape and how they kno who did it..wow that is gon be soo much for her to handle..ecspecially knowin that ash and aiden are in it..wow..yea u needa get all that drama over with haha…i kno spence is gon do somethin drastic when she finds that all out..yup…u better not split them up either they are so meant to be lol..post soon.. byee

WOOOOO you posted! lol now that i no longer have “hanging by a moment” lol…im super happy oh man i sooo wanted Ashh to beat the shit out of Paula…what a bitch!!!!! lol…oh and btw! I was watching the movie Million Dollar Baby the other day, and the weridest thing occured to me…the german chick looks almost exactly how you described Dano in your story..well i think the german chick might be a little more “manlier” than our good old Dano, but i think you should take a look and decide that for urself. Other than that all i have to say…more like beg you to do is to PLEASE POST AGAIN SOON!
