“What pattern? No one has said anything about a pattern on the news.” Ashley and Spencer exchanged glances before the brunette folded her arms across her chest and cleared her throat.
“For the past week or so, Spence and I have been trying to solve the King High Killer case.” Ashley began. Lily snorted and gave the pair a look of disbelief. Ashley shrugged. “It might sound crazy to you, Zee, but four years ago Spencer and I both lost a parent out of the blue. We were powerless then and we’re tired of feeling that way. Next thing we know, people we care about are suddenly dying. Instead of ignoring it and acting as though people our age, our freaking friends aren’t being murdered, we started looking in to it. It may sound like a gigantic waste of time to you, but we didn’t feel like waiting until it was us.” Ashley defended. Lily rolled her eyes again.
“Well what have you found out?” She asked with a sigh.
“We saw a pattern that the Killer was following. It started out obvious. The Killer was picking kids off the list of King High students alphabetically that were outcasts or known ‘bad kids.’ Then the Killer mixed it up, still going through the list alphabetically, but from didn’t parts of the alphabet. He started with the A’s through B’s, then jumped to the L’s and M’s and most recently hit the P’s. When I realized that Sherry and Jonica were missing from school Friday, along with Cholo Paul and David Perry, two kids, along with Sherry and Jonica that have a bad rap, we knew that they had been victims. All four are now conveniently missing at the same time. It’s a little odd, don’tcha think?” Lily took in Spencer’s explanation, opened her mouth as though she were going to argue, before her shoulders slumped.
“I guess.” She whispered in defeat.
“We’ve actually been following Carmen.” Ashley said, before she stopped talking to wait for a few bustling doctors to pass. “She’s definitely a target and if Spencer and my theory is correct, so are you and me.” Lily’s mouth dropped open. “Gay kids, Lil. We’re definitely a target.” Lily ran her hands through her hair as she collected herself.

dun dun dun! another fantatic chap stix! I was hoping ash and spence would’ve used their closet time to really express what they feel for each other but hey it worked out anyway, at least they didn’t really get mad at each other in this chap. I loved the way spence was so concerned when ash told her about almost being hit by the car, that was so great. and are you serious? you’re almost done with this?? =( ahh well it’s definitely worth all the suspense and angst! excellent job, can’t wait to find out what they just found out in the files aobut their parents. pms please!!
mmmm. thts all i can say. amazing. theres so much stuff going hand in hand. i personally think the killer is christine and the protege is paula. guess i’ll have to find out. and u being a naughty girl ;) shame shame. lol PMS!!

That was an awesome update. I want to know what happened to their parents that would cause a reaction like that. Its just wow. I bet they will figure out who the killers are. I missed this story I am glad you updated. Spence is so going to come out to Ash because you just can’t leave feelings like that hidden forever. Well her mouth may not speak them but her hands are eager to show. Haha. Well I hope everything is going good with you and I hope you post soon. -jess
brat!! if paula and raife didn’t die in a car accident i’m going to be very upset and i’m also still convinced that paula and raife are the killers. and i haven’t ruled out arthur yet…hmmm…oh and whatever happened to the girl that was trapped and restrained by the killer a few chapters back…perhaps that’s christine and that’s how they got into ashley’s house…oh yes, my wheels are spinning and you can’t convince me otherwise. ughhh i don’t know what to make of everything, i need to re-read the story in it’s entirety and take notes. but it was a splendid update that i thoroughly enjoyed reading and i think that you should write the rest of it right now. ha, isn’t it great that i have my username back? i bet you just missed all of my demands and unreal expectations. i sure missed emmmm :-)
