“Do you have any idea who the fuck is doing this?” She asked in a shaky voice. Spencer and Ashley looked at one another.
“We have a few guesses but I don’t think they’re any good.” Spencer answered quietly. Ashley rolled her eyes,
“It’s so Clay Brown and Garrett McDermott!” At this, Spencer rolled her eyes and Lily’s eyebrows shot up.
“Clay Brown?” Lily scoffed. “I cheat off that kid in economics.” She mumbled and then shook her head. “No way it’s Clay Brown. And all I know about Garrett McDermott is that he’s a douche and Spencer used to date him.” Ashley nodded emphatically.
“He’s such a douche. A murdering douche!” Ashley said as she emphasized her point with a gesture. Again Spencer rolled her eyes.
“We’re not certain that it’s them, we’ve just caught them acting a little suspiciously. They were together at the hay ride talking to one another looking all shifty-eyed. They don’t have any classes together and don’t run in the same social circle so it was odd.”
“Don’t forget about overhearing them in the gym talking all suspiciously.”
“We don’t know for sure that it was Clay with Garrett, Ash.”
“But I waited on Clay at the diner and he was saying weird stuff about how kids today aren’t responsible and crap like that-”
“That’s not exactly killer worthy, Ash…”
“And Garrett is like, obsessed with getting Spencer to go to the dance with him, for like, no reason!” Ashley finished triumphantly, like she just completely solved everything. Lily watched Spencer roll her eyes and looked at the pair with confusion.
“Why would it matter if Garrett is trying to get Spencer to go to the dance with him?”
“Because that’s the list the Killer is following.” Ashley explained proudly. “The Halloween dance list.” Lily scoffed as she narrowed her eyes.
“This is what you two are going by? A school dance list?” It was Ashley’s turn to scoff while Spencer sighed with frustration.
“I know it sounds lame, but you have to see the list, Lil. We believe that the Killer is murdering students who are outcasts, not going to the dance, or are going to the dance but who the Killer believes shouldn’t.” Lily looked to the ceiling and let out a breath.

dun dun dun! another fantatic chap stix! I was hoping ash and spence would’ve used their closet time to really express what they feel for each other but hey it worked out anyway, at least they didn’t really get mad at each other in this chap. I loved the way spence was so concerned when ash told her about almost being hit by the car, that was so great. and are you serious? you’re almost done with this?? =( ahh well it’s definitely worth all the suspense and angst! excellent job, can’t wait to find out what they just found out in the files aobut their parents. pms please!!
mmmm. thts all i can say. amazing. theres so much stuff going hand in hand. i personally think the killer is christine and the protege is paula. guess i’ll have to find out. and u being a naughty girl ;) shame shame. lol PMS!!

That was an awesome update. I want to know what happened to their parents that would cause a reaction like that. Its just wow. I bet they will figure out who the killers are. I missed this story I am glad you updated. Spence is so going to come out to Ash because you just can’t leave feelings like that hidden forever. Well her mouth may not speak them but her hands are eager to show. Haha. Well I hope everything is going good with you and I hope you post soon. -jess
brat!! if paula and raife didn’t die in a car accident i’m going to be very upset and i’m also still convinced that paula and raife are the killers. and i haven’t ruled out arthur yet…hmmm…oh and whatever happened to the girl that was trapped and restrained by the killer a few chapters back…perhaps that’s christine and that’s how they got into ashley’s house…oh yes, my wheels are spinning and you can’t convince me otherwise. ughhh i don’t know what to make of everything, i need to re-read the story in it’s entirety and take notes. but it was a splendid update that i thoroughly enjoyed reading and i think that you should write the rest of it right now. ha, isn’t it great that i have my username back? i bet you just missed all of my demands and unreal expectations. i sure missed emmmm :-)
