“She’ll get her meds when she answers the questions.” Spencer demanded, looking at Lily then to Carmen. “What will it be, Mendez, the easy way or the hard way?”
“Okay, you two watch too much Law and Order-” Lily mumbled as she went back to Carmen’s bedside.
“What are you hiding, Mendez, what aren’t you telling us?!” Ashley practically yelled as she slammed her hands down on the foot of Carmen’s bed.
“Dude, what the fuck are you talking about?!”
“The picture, Carmen! Don’t play stupid, that’s what Sasha’s for!” Ashley reared, suddenly feeling the effects of the highly stressful day. Spencer saw the brunette rub her forehead wearily and approached her, softly massaging Ashley’s shoulders.
“I got this, I got this.” Spencer muttered with a sneer as she turned to the two confused girls. Ashley bit back a moan at the feeling and almost complained when the blonde dropped her hands.
“Just tell us what we wanna know, Carmen, and we’ll leave you to your dysfunctional relationship. Where did you get the picture?!” Spencer demanded, taking the picture from Ashley’s hand and thrusting it into the Latina’s face. Spencer waited a moment and watched Carmen’s features change from confused to something else.
“I don’t feel so good.” The Latina moaned before she launched herself to the side of her bed and threw up for the second time that night. Ashley and Spencer recoiled in disgust as Carmen emptied out her stomach on the hospital floor. Lily reached over and lightly stroked her girlfriend’s back.
“Can we do this some other time, not that it’s not fun and everything to watch you two play bad cop/worse cop, but it’s been a long day and–”
“Do you have any idea what happened to us tonight, Lily?” Ashley questioned loudly. “While you two were playing stuff the taco, Spencer and I were hiding from a freaking serial killer!” Ashley shouted. Lily gasped and covered her mouth with her hand, completely thrown by the news. Carmen mumbled something through a groan; head still perched over the bed as she dry heaved.
“That’s right. The diner got broken into, moments before a creepy phone call came in telling me to run for my life if I didn’t want to die.” Spencer explained with a scowl as she watched the pair suspiciously.

dun dun dun! another fantatic chap stix! I was hoping ash and spence would’ve used their closet time to really express what they feel for each other but hey it worked out anyway, at least they didn’t really get mad at each other in this chap. I loved the way spence was so concerned when ash told her about almost being hit by the car, that was so great. and are you serious? you’re almost done with this?? =( ahh well it’s definitely worth all the suspense and angst! excellent job, can’t wait to find out what they just found out in the files aobut their parents. pms please!!
mmmm. thts all i can say. amazing. theres so much stuff going hand in hand. i personally think the killer is christine and the protege is paula. guess i’ll have to find out. and u being a naughty girl ;) shame shame. lol PMS!!

That was an awesome update. I want to know what happened to their parents that would cause a reaction like that. Its just wow. I bet they will figure out who the killers are. I missed this story I am glad you updated. Spence is so going to come out to Ash because you just can’t leave feelings like that hidden forever. Well her mouth may not speak them but her hands are eager to show. Haha. Well I hope everything is going good with you and I hope you post soon. -jess
brat!! if paula and raife didn’t die in a car accident i’m going to be very upset and i’m also still convinced that paula and raife are the killers. and i haven’t ruled out arthur yet…hmmm…oh and whatever happened to the girl that was trapped and restrained by the killer a few chapters back…perhaps that’s christine and that’s how they got into ashley’s house…oh yes, my wheels are spinning and you can’t convince me otherwise. ughhh i don’t know what to make of everything, i need to re-read the story in it’s entirety and take notes. but it was a splendid update that i thoroughly enjoyed reading and i think that you should write the rest of it right now. ha, isn’t it great that i have my username back? i bet you just missed all of my demands and unreal expectations. i sure missed emmmm :-)
