    Spencer and Ashley have the conversation we’ve all been waiting for…the one about Glen’s hair (kidding…just read it.)

    Spencer stared at her. She felt angrier with each passing second, realizing for the first time that there might not be a second chance for her relationship with Ashley.

    “I’m sorry, Spencer. I’m so sorry. I wish there was something I could do. I wish there was something I could do to make all of this go away.”

    “There’s nothing you can do.”

    “I can’t accept that we’re over for good. I love you. You love me. I know that you still love me.”

    “I do.”

    “Then why can’t we work this out? If two people love each other, why can’t they just work everything out?”

    “It takes more than that, Ashley. I mean, let’s say that I forgive you. What keeps you from going out and doing the same thing all over again in like, two or three days…or two or three weeks…or two or three years?”

    “I’ve learned my lesson, Spence. It will never…ever…happen again. I know that it won’t.”

    “You can’t be sure of that.”

    “Yes, I can.”

    “Ok, if someone had told you two and a half weeks ago that we were going to break up because you kissed someone else, and not only that…no, let’s not stop there. That same night you fuck her too…would you have believed them?”

    “Well…..no, I guess not.”

    “My point exactly. You never know what you might do.”

    Ashley felt herself possibly losing Spencer for good. She could literally feel her ex pulling away from her mentally, emotionally, even physically. She gave up using her words and instead she gently grabbed the back of Spencer’s neck, pulling the girl in for a kiss.

    Spencer wanted to pull back immediately, but it felt so good to have Ashley’s lips pressed against hers again…to feel Ashley’s tongue enter her mouth as though she was searching for the right words to make Spencer hers again. It was a kiss different from any they had ever had before, and she knew at that moment that Ashley was kissing her as though it was their last. So Spencer gave herself completely, knowing that the brunette could be right. She ran her tongue over Ashley’s lips, tasting her signature cherry flavored Chapstick and something else…something that was just simply Ashley Davies. Something Spencer knew she would have a hard time living without.
