    A sequel to “A new start”. “….all you could hear were the shots that sliced the air and screams.”

    “Oh shut up. I’d do it again in a heart beat.” Ashley says seriously

    “Oh come on, Ash. You got admit that you overreacted just a little and not just with her but with all three of them.” Spencer smiles

    Ashley frowns and shakes her head while Spencer just giggles softly. Then she turns her attention and Ashley’s back to their kids.

    “So that’s how you got Maggie to be your girlfriend?’ A.J. smiles

    “I just gave her a little nudge, that’s all.” Ashton blushes

    “Nudge? I think it was more like a shove.” Alexis grins

    “Whatever it was, it worked. I was very happy when I was with her.” Ashton says softly

    “You know, even though you guys broke up 4 years ago she still asks about you.” Alexis says quietly

    “Really?” Ashton asks surprised

    “Yes, really. We don’t talk very often but when we do she always asks about you. You know there hasn’t been anybody else in her life since you.” Alexis says firmly

    Now Ashton’s heart is trying to jump out of her chest. She couldn’t believe it. After how things ended with Maggie she never thought she would ever even think about her. It was all her fault and she know she hurt her very badly. Maggie really tried to be there for Ashton but Ashton pushed her away as hard as she could. It worked. One night Maggie walked in on one of Ashton’s drug induced sexcapades. The sad thing was that Ashton was actually relieved Maggie left her. She didn’t feel worthy of having her in her life.

    “Umm well, how is she doing?” Ashton asks nervously

    “She’s doing great. Med school is kicking her butt but she’s doing really well.” Alexis says

    “I’m happy to hear that.” Alexis says looking away

    “Ashey, come home. I think that she still loves you. Fight for her. Try to mend her heart and yours. Please come home.” A.J. pleads

    Ashton let out a bitter laugh as she gets up to pace. She turns to A.J. and with a single tear on her face says, “How could you think she still loves me, huh? After what I did to her she should despise me.”

    Alexis shakes her head and says, “I think she understands what you were going through back then. What we were all going through. I think she’s forgiven you .”
