Everything Changes After Spending 7 Months Apart – (Chapter: Girl, Save your soul before you're too far gone. Before Nothing can be done. Without me, you've got it all.)

I perked up immediately. I had almost forgotten that he was coming today. “Okay, text me when you get close and I’ll meet you outside.” I say easily.

It takes him nearly an hour to get to my house. The entire time he is on his way, I am doing nothing but pissing myself off. He hit on me while my best friend, the girl he was trying to start things with, was asleep. That is incredibly fucked up.

That’s because he was trying to use both of you. And do you know what you do to users? You use them.

I get an evil grin on my face as I see him pulling down the driveway. I walk up to his window as he rolls it down. It’s like Domino’s for alcohol – delivered and everything. I lean in the window.

    “Hey guy!”

He reaches into his back seat and under a jacket, into a back pack, under a bunch of clutter and wrapped in a sweater was the alcohol. The first thing I notice is that it is not Jose Cuervo. I check the label to make sure it is at least tequila. I am pleased to find out that it is. One check and I make sure the seal is still sealed tight. The bottle is in perfect condition.

“Hey asshole,” I say easily into his window. “You want to see a magic trick?”

He hesitates but says yes. I ask him to see his pack of cigarettes and he kindly obliges. I take one from the pack and light it quickly. I throw the pack into his lap and exhale my hit.

“Oh wow, amazing magic trick.” He jokes easily.

“It gets even better.” I say wrapping the bottle under my jacket and taking another hit from my cigarette. “Me, this cigarette and this tequila are disappearing.” With that I turn and walk away with an evil smirk played across my face.

    Well played, Spencer!

Hey, the dickhead had it coming.

I go inside and stick the tequila in the freezer after looking at the label. Whatever this shit is – it is cheap as hell. But what most people don’t understand is that with certain types of alcohol, the cheaper it is – the stronger it usually is. I pay quick notice to the fact that it from Mexico and I smile. I’m going to be shit-faced.
